I wish you weren't using/promoting shein. You have great content otherwise and I love your channel, but clothing made by slave labour including by children isn't ok.

It’s sad that a lot of y’all need SHEIN to be brought up in order for some of you to actually care about the the terrible working conditions many poor family members (and people) go through.. There’s a lot of things made by overworked people / working children. Toys, clothing, shoes, technology, food, etc. (a LOT more than you think) buying almost anything new means it was more than likely made by underpaid workers in third world countries. Boycotting isn’t helping those children and overworked people, they are there because they need money to help support themselves or their families. (Otherwise, they’d understand they are being VERY underpaid + overworked and would just quit) Unfortunately, it is very common in third world countries for people (and children) in poor conditions to be in this type of job field even if they aren’t paid enough because again, they are very poor. Say if everyone boycotted and stopped buying to the point where SHEIN (or even Walmart and Amazon) stops being in business, now hundreds of poor people have lost their jobs and need to find another one. (Which they would probably find one that’ll be in the same pay range and working conditions) and if they don’t find a job, how will y’all manage to directly support every one of those families and people affected financially until they can find a job? (And I’m not talking about through someone else, I mean directly giving the money those families need) I personally don’t think any of what happens should happen but that’s the way things are, they aren’t living in America or any of these other free privileged countries where they could just find a minimum wage job and get paid $9-$18 /hr . The world isn’t all cupcakes and rainbows for them, they are paid the amount they are paid because they are obviously being taken advantage of due to the fact that their employers know how poor and unfortunate their situations are. (Meaning they are basically willing to do all of that just for a little bit of money, the employers are obviously very wrong for paying them less than $2) So many clothes (even from a thrift store) were more than likely made by an overworked and underpaid employee. As long as the person isn’t participating in overconsumption, it shouldn’t matter that they are buying new clothes & shaming / criticizing people for what they buy as if you’ve never bought anything new is the worst way to ever go about subjects like this because it only makes it look like you are a performative activist that tries to make it seem like you’re morally better than another person. Her haul wasn’t a big one so I don’t understand what was wrong with it. She bought a few pieces and left it at that, it’s her choice as to what she spends her money on and she shouldn’t have to have people like you in the comments telling her what you wish she did and didn’t do or who her clothes were made by with the intention of making her feel bad and stop buying / promoting stuff.

the thing is, other big companies such as H&M, Nike, and more do the same thing SHEIN does. why not call them out as well? trying to tell people to stop shopping on SHEIN wont stop SHEIN from doing child labor. i do get that child labor is wrong but what i suggest is just let people shop where they want.
