I think the hell/heaven theory could be seen as a metaphor rather than a theory. I feel like if the characters were actually dead the film would expand more on that. I still think it’s really interesting tho!!

Drug theory and Dream theory. They work for literally everything that someone in the real world doesn't have a personal story of experiencing. It's so lazy and I don't like when theorists use it.

What about the key just appearing in the drawer? I mean I just noticed it now but her mum goes through the drawer then the key appears from air, trust me, watch it again until you notice it if you haven’t seen it before.

The fact that she stepped into that circle of mushrooms go to simple is that connects to the fairy realm. That in itself could’ve been a fairy trap.

I think she never escaped because yeah the cat but Coriline never went back in the tunnel they just put her to bed maybe the beldam just put her in a loop the well in the end seen looks kinda like the tunnel too and when the parents were in the mirror they would’ve needed magic to be there and write that you can see when Coriline comes back to save her parents that the beldam had eyes pretending to be her mother but then that means she can pretend to be human whenever and in the and everybody is so happy and Corilines mom said “your RIGHT Coriline I really do hate dirt.” Some sneak peeks are the beldams face in the “real world” garden and jack skeletons face in the other mothers egg this took me really long to write so please read this thank you.

Most of these theories were started by people that didn’t read the book Coraline they just assumed that all the information was in the movie maybe they don’t even know there is a book but if you really want to be able to fully comprehend what actually goes on in this story you need to read the book it has all the details and info that the book includes
