Dear God, I have been diabetic for more than 10 years... Since my mid-20s, I had been eating fast food, soda, have had high blood pressure for just as long, high A1C levels, high cholesterol, and having an 11.3 A1C rating in June, 6 weeks later, losing 23 pounds, eating healthier, establishing a more prayerful relationship with Him in years, my A1C went down to 8.7. I still have a ways to go but I'm getting there! With continued love from Him and support from friends and family, all things are possible with Him! this year was my last year going to a church camp called falls creek and its located in Davis Oklahoma. My buddy Eli has always grown up in a church family because his dad is the music pastor at my church here in Nevada,Missouri. We never really got to talk much outside of church so the whole week we were at camp we spent time together and we got so close to the point he asked me to go down with him when he gave his life to Christ. this song started to play and we stood there singing and he cried on my shoulder and it reminded me that 6 years ago that was me in the same spot as him listening to that same exact song. To see god use me in a way to bring someone to him just by talking and playing cornhole is incredible. god is truly incredibly and before every show choir competition me and a few of my buddies say a little prayer and I do that with every sport I play.
