It's hard not to love a country singer with no songs about 'country girls', but exactly one about loving goth girls. Corb's a beauty.

Yeah, and the ending scene should be of a broken man and an obliterated heart.

As a rockabilly/goth girl with tattoos I find that the song exaggerates but goes not make fun of the 'scene'. In fact, I really like it xD

Cool tune Corb! Reminds me of a phase another old guy went through, back in '83. And it is fitting, your band does keep Everybody Rockin'! But I just can't picture you in a Pink suit, like Neil and the Shocking Pinks! I'll be sure to catch you playing out west, when I finally start out on my Cross Canada Covid Tour 2022!

Given that Corb Lund was goth before anyone ever thought to name it that, I think he's earned the right to poke some fun at the scene.

I don't see the offence here. Before Corb Lund was a country musician he played all the punk spots in Edmonton (watch flood aid 2014, he has an SNFU sticker right on his geetbox. So clearly he has a general idea about these girls he's singing about. The guys less country than you'd think

Glad Minnie and her friends find this offensive. As one of the people who laugh at the people being referred to in this song I find it hilarious.
