Fantastic series of lessons on this beautiful song. Where would go - as a solo guitar player ie no band - to build on this by maybe changing the voicings and embellishing the melody? Would be great to hear your thoughts

Thanks! There are always lots of chord voicing possibilities, so you can definitely try that. If you are knowledgeable in the improv side of things then then will help with some melody embellishment. When I play live I use a loop pedal sometimes to help me expand this type of song. When you are dealing with this type of arrangement it's not that easy to embellish it unless you've already tried it many times because you want to keep the momentum going. Conversely, I like also playing in a very rubato way with lots of time, this can open things up. Hope that helps.
