What if the cord burns but doesn't separate? And the candles both burn all the way down and the cord is still connected at the end?

from what i gathered it might take a few times to do , i am personally not fully educated on the process of if it doesn’t break. personally i would hold off and try to write a letter and burn an item that would belong to them plus the letter after reading out loud first , light a while candle in honour of the relationship and to let it burn down and out to signify an ending

i did this yesterday but i am not really sure if i managed to cut the cord because at the end of it, when i thought my fire blew out, it started burning again and then somehow his fire reached mine and they started burning together and the fire didnt stop for so long i had to end it. does that mean i was unable to cut the cord??

it’s all about what your intuition tells you, if you truly felt something was off and it kept going either a) oils and wax b) he was trying one last attempt at trying to ignite the flame , toxic or not or c) you might need to cleanse and possibly try on a night significated for this specific spell, also another way you can just write a letter to the person have an item or paper etc and have a white candle significating the relationship burn the candle and read out ur letter whilst it is going burn the item burn the letter and say i release this bond to the universe etc…
