Really nice demo thanks. I was going to get a cording foot but dont need to now! And was very calming to watch. I find some American videos exhausting to watch, they are so INCREDIBLY ENTHUSIASTIC! I also love sewing over the pins, if anyone hasnt done it you have to be brave to do it the first time but its fine isnt it! Many thanks.

Katie Cox Glad you liked the video, thank you for posting, I know some folk don't approve of sewing over pins but I've never had a problem...

The piping can be any size you like, narrow cord would look lovely on the baby duvet! And yes, make the bias tape narrower, just make sure you can still fit it under your sewing machine foot. Deb

There is some very fine piping available which would look beautiful on a baby's duvet, you could make the width of the bias fabric a bit narrower if you're using thinner piping,

Hi Debbie Thank you for the video about piping. Never tried myself as I did not know how to .. smiles. Can I ask if I can choose the size of the piping to maybe do them smaller? I think on adding piping to some baby duvet and pillow case. Have a nice day. Hugs, Dukkemor

Thank you for showing how to do this with a zipper foot, rather than a special piping foot. I don't have all the fancy tools! : )

I always take the pins out before sewing that area. It looks easy adding piping to a straight line but I came to grief when I tried to go round the corners of a cushion.

wondering what your recommendation would be, if allowed, on a sewing machine that making doing repetative tasks easier and allows a lot of functions, stitches, embroidering and machine quilting. What brands are really best for reliability and longevity. Thanks.

Personally, I like Janome and Brother, both reliable brands...

Love your videos, they are SO WONDERFUL, I would rather not have music in the background, ( but maybe that's just me) I would just rather hear your voice ALONE, Debbie, sorry !
