Cordae really isn't doing it for me. At least, not to the levels he's hyped to. Lyrics are okay, but also super basic (I feel like he seems lyrical to young people and people who don't often listen to lyrical hiphop), same with the rhymes. Flow is nice, but always sounds too clean and calculated. Not enough emotion, just short of sounding natural. He can obviously rap and write and make decent songs, but he can't hold my attention for even a full song. Finesse2Tymes Power 106 from last week is better than this if we real.
