In this tutorial I did a drop fade using the NEW cordless andis masters and I must say I liked them. Tell me what you think of this video and I hope you learned some new techniques and systems to do a drop fade.

honestly best fade ive seen on this channel clean nice transition. I think you missed an opportunity to mention how much easier these low compressed fades are to do with the andis masters compared to other clippers. Im not sure about the cordless version but if its anything like the original it makes it super easy to blend hair from skin to a 1.5. Then you can either use guards, scissor over comb or clipper over comb for the rest of the cut to keep it dark.

Matt is a good barber but this fade did not make me wanna spend 300$ on the cordless masters! It wasn’t that good of a haircut maybe Matt needs to adjust the blade a little but I’m not feeling them so far

The machine you use doesnt mean anything. There are barbers who can do an amazing fade with a pair of walmart clippers for 20 dollars. The machine just can make things easier or harder to achieve a certain result. Me personally i like the haircut but i feel like instead of using guards on the whole cut he should have used clipper over comb after the 1.5 length. It would have came out cleaner if he does it right.

All about the flick out motion man. If you flick out good yes a 2 open can blend into even super long lengths as long as you rock the clipper out. The longer the hair you trying to blend into the more exaggeratted you gotta flick out. If you not comfortable doing that you can always just use more guards or clipper over comb/scissor over comb. Up to you its just a short cut.

Thats what this haircut is though. Its supposed to be compressed cause the client wants that dark look. These fades are meant to blend into the top more because the sides being dark makes it match the hair on top. Its just a different type of fade. These fades are actually the hardest to do.

Your barber didnt compress the fade or he might not have used the #4 guard . This fade is a low drop fade like he mentioned in the video .
