Cordoba Guitars - C5 CET Thinbody Nylon String Guitar

I have had this guitar for over a year now and still love it. I do a lot of weddings and cocktail receptions. I chose this over Ibanez and Taylor. For $399 it was a bargain and a true quality instrument. I am saving now for a studio negra...you guys make the best nylon guitars hands down.

How is the action from the factory? Actually how is the entire setup?

Hi Dunga, The jazz piece was just an improvisation by our featured guitarist, Alfredo Carceres. The Classical piece is "La Primavera" by composer Victor Velasquez, and the Flamenco piece is called " Ecos del Sacromonte" which is also by Alfredo. Thanks for choosing Cordoba!

Always liked Cordoba. Thinline body style is a compromise on tone for added comfort and playability. Sounds great with those jazz chords.

I bought this as a B-grade (dinged) guitar for cheap. It's quite nice. Really. Very easy to play and it sounds and projects better than you'd think.

I have the very hard to find C1 version of this guitar. Lowered the action on it, replaced nut and saddle with bone, and it sounds like a 1000$ flamenco guitar. Im in love with it. I saw it online , matched what I was looking for, and turns out coincidentally the only distrubutor in the u.s. lived right down the street from me! If you can find one, pick it up. Great beater, or in my case, my primary jamalam. Cordoba C1 CET

ordered one from sweetwater. pulled it out of the box and was visually stunned. plucked out a few notes and was immediately enamored with the rich tone. all was good and i was in love. then i started to try and tune her up and that's where the headaches began. intonation is horrendous. such a shame.

This is an ACOUSTIC recording. I own this model and few other Cordoba guitars so I know how accurate this recording is. I will say this is how they will actually sound in (studio) person.
