Wisdom ? He beat his wife up, he also pettily avoided Wiley for how long? Who did he actually help from his area when he went big? No one bro, the newham generals were selling mix tapes on the streets for a fiver- actually did… while he was on private jets- dizzee isolated himself from the world and thinks he’s wise… no he’s not wise and wise men don’t beat their wives up..

I like what Dizzee did here nuff respect 👊🏾 Tbh I’m not a huge fan of drill for reasons they’ve discussed. I do like to see young men making money legally and escaping the trap so it’s complex. Having an older speak such sense to you is priceless. Especially when many of us come from places where olders spoke 💩 and lead us down a path isn’t fun. Big up Dizzee still

Knowledge is power…ease of the weed and drink and you’ll go far in life. Kweng had some great thoughts though and defo some golden nuggets. Dizee really showed why he made his money and kept legacy. Remember Dizze shutting down raves aged 16 imperial gardens etc
@493HZ2 жыл бұрын
The maturity gap between these two is so much bigger than the one between Unknown T and Double. Credit to T because that M charge legit put him in the craziest headspace, Kweng seems way too hotheaded and doesnt think much before he speaks. He's got a great flow though. Also Dizzee is amazing, so screwed on.

A little trippy to see two of my favorites from the old and new school chopping it up like this I'm no gangster but I love NY/UK Drill and lived in various hoods. Funny thing is I don't listen to drill rap that's local to me. I don't know most the names they're dropping or who knew them. It's awkward as fuck when K-flock is blowing up and the olders are telling the youngins not to play his music because you're in a YG Hood. It's awkward as fuck when somebody gets your man for a pack and you hear about it in a song. It's awkward as fuck when your friend wants to takes somebody's head off in the hood you're living because he got dissed. I just generally fuck with the aggressive/competitive energy that they put into the music but I'm not ignorant about what I'm listening too. Dissing dead homies is fucking whack at the end of the day but if somebody terrorized my friends I wouldn't probably shit on them every chance I get as well

We are the only race who celebrate our own demise while middle class kids fantasise about being the have not's?.
@gaia88402 жыл бұрын
Not really ^^ white people did it with rock/punk celebrating drug abuse, latinos and east european do it with music celebrating the chappos or the big gangster families, asia do it with their constant quest for perfection and disregard for mental health which is the reason why asian countries are seen as more likely for suicide ( if you stick out you are fd ). I can go on and on. Art being done by broken people a lot of times, it is likely that they will talk about demons that plague their life, which is similar to other. In that case violence and gangbanging
