@BeauSchwartz Charles Babbage (1791 - 1871) invented the concept of a digital programmable computer, way before electronics existed. He built the "Difference Engine" out of mechanical parts. His collaborator Ada Lovelace is considered the first programmer.

360+ games is insane. I never finish games and I bounce around a lot between maybe the same 15 things. I cannot fathom playing that many things, I'd never remember which game was what.

Like the Raphael boss song in Baldurs Gate, Alan Wake 2 has an epic musical moment with the characters’ voice actors singing (and dancing) that absolutely slays. Whole soundtrack in that game is great and weaves into the narrative well

I also really love that people think that Balatro is this amazing thing. I just have ZERO interest in that game. I don't play games for that. I'm not interested in a card game that is a rogue lite. At all. I want to play games to explore worlds I can't see in real life. To experience something I can't experience.

I think people like balatro because you don’t have to get all that invested like other more epic experiences and it’s easy to pick up and play a round or two. It’s a great second screen game, time waster at the drs office, or to play while listening to podcasts. But I agree if you’re sitting down for a few hours just to game there are tons of more meaningful experiences out there.

Plenty of ppl play Helldivers 2 solo even on the hardest difficulty, no one is forcing anyone to play that in groups. So i don't really understand Scotts comment.

Nothing crazy, it’s just not all that solo friendly. I played it both ways.
