Despite the continuously failure, the leafs continue to make record profit with this team. Management has no need to change. It’s the hope of making it that makes money, not actually doing it. So I doubt there’s much change that happens.

Appreciate it, Yea when his trade value was higher they could’ve gotten rid of him. The thing is I wanna be optimistic and just wait till the series is over before more trade talks. If they can find a way to get out of this situation and get into round 2 it would be hype but chances are slim. But no zero

Wouldn’t really classify it as a “hockey channel” it’s just nhl playoffs rn and the leafs are my team. They are booty cheeks but still gotta go with them through the lows and lowers :)

I know why they are booing, cause the leafs suck. But I personally can’t imagine dropping 500 bones and not trying to motivate my team. Look at Boston even when they are down they are still chanting and trying to rally their team back into it. The lower bowls need to have fans that are into the game, or at least a “super fan section” like what they have at many colleges.

Exactly this is the main issue the leafs just became too corporate and all these people just expect excellence 24/7. Some times in a game you gotta rally the troops and get the place buzzing. They will never reduce the ticket prices because people are still buying them at the outrageous costs. But I think there should be at least a few areas scattered around the arena for dedicated fans, in the lower bowls for sure.

@@TooLuky Good question, I don't think Marner is the worst, just lacks discipline. In other words he needs to be traded to a team that can teach him more depth to his play. Alot of the problems comes from leadership or lack thereof, I want Tavares gone as well as keefe. Matthews I guess could be captain, maybe he could fair well with a new team under him. But honestly, as much as I have tried to defend Samsanov I do think he needs to go first, followed by Marner, then hopefully a new coach with a better vision for this team, they do that and its a start in the right direction. At least better than just do the same thing every year and hope for the best.

The leafs are indeed blowing it, but you have to admit the refereeing has been complete trash. Marchand sweeps ppl off their feet over and over again and gets nothing. But when anyone taps him with a stick he flops to the ice and gets the call. Like O'Keefe said, he's world-class. That cross check by Domi was such a joke. He barely touched the guy and he flops. 2 mins. The "holding" (lol) call against Tavares towards the end of game 3 (I think) was also unreal. Barely even touched the guy, and you're going to ruin any chance they had in the dying minutes of the game against a team fighting for its life. Just unbelievable. It probably wouldn't have mattered, the Leafs' special teams have been horrible anyways. But Jesus, give us a break.
