Hello Team of Durga, I do not know if its due to the new JAVA UPDATE. I have tested File F = new File("name.txt"); and skipped the second line f.createNewFile(); and the file was actually created in the directory but the boolean of exsistance was FALSE...when I added f.createNewFile(); the boolean of exsistance (f.exists()) turns to be TRUE and the file is created in the directory as well. In both cases it creates the file just the first case does not recognize on the run time therefore we have to run the program another time and in the 2nd case it does recognize the file on the run time.

Hello Durga sir in this video you have explained that "File f = new File("abc.txt")" won't create the physical file so I have doubt is that while we don't have any file in our directory so after running "File f = new File("abc.txt")" going to create one file in with name "abc.txt" in current directory so how is that possible. Doesn't that file is physical file or what do you mean by physical file?

Lokesh Modi Watch the same video again "File f = new File("abc.txt")" will not create a file, it will only create File type object, so by using that object you have to run "createNewFile()" method which will create a new file if any file with such name does not exist.
