Film Gauge refers to the width of the film and is measured in millimeters. Each gauge can be utilized in different ways, allowing for different aspect ratios to be extracted from the shot footage. The most prevalent gauge is 35 mm, which is used in the majority of film and television programming.

What is the advantage of making any user thread as daemon. If the daemon thread terminates after all non-daemon threads complete it's task, what advantage is it to a programmer to make a user thread demon.If we are making any thread as daemon means we do not care if it executes or not, then why to even create such a thread. Can you please highlight on the advantage of using this daemon method.

In Java, Let there are 5 threads. 1 is main thread named Main, 3 are other non-daemon (user) thread named t1, t2, t3. 1 is daemon thread named t4. Then daemon thread t4 provide service to whom thread(Main, t1,t2,t3)?
@abhishekpodder75945 жыл бұрын
depends upon the threadpriority i guess. But it will provide the support for main thread first.

Can someone explain my below doubt, please ? I tried the same above program but without "Thread.sleep" in run() method. It did not execute as expected (Daemon thread was not destroyed). It works only if the "Thread.sleep" inside the for loop. Why so ? Please explain.

I tried printing the priority of main thread and child thread (which I set to be daemon) but I get 5 to be the priority of both the main thread and child thread(daemon thread). How is this ? Daemon thread should have lesser priority than main thread right ?
