very accurate review! well done! but the diameter in the center of the kite remained the same, I compared it! but really it became unstable in the lower wind range, which is what 12 xr 7 was famous for ... output xr 8 only professionals will understand the changes for the rest they will not be noticeable and problems with a small wind ... I also made a review ... thanks for the objectivity!

I think that the new XR8 is mucho more stable in the light wind than XR7. I ride with 6 m in 19 knots very well

@@didiilcheva8639I agree. I have a 7/8/11 in XR7 and a 9/11 in XR8. they are fine in low wind. I did notice in the XR8 the kites being more reactive vibrating, clawing their way upwind in powered conditions (yesterday for the 11m on flat glass water). Other kiters 10/11/12s tried to outpoint me and to pass me... nope. Board was 136 Shinn Bronq Luigi with Brunotti 4cm fins 182lbs (years kiting too many). Great product testing thank you.

Thanks your your Review! 🍻 Curious from translation, Did you say you get Bigger jumps on the Wave Setting? Do you use the inside knot on the wingtip for going bigger? And if so still pull the Bar in all the way? Thanks so much for your videos amd tips! 🍻

Setting Point "wave" the jumping is more explosive. in 10 Days we have the correct subtitle. Now it is only the KI from KZbin

Danke für den tollen Test. Der Test in der aktuellen Kite liest sich sehr ähnlich. Ist der XR8 auch ratsam für Kiter die noch nicht mit dem Springen angefangen haben (steht frühestens im nächsten Urlaub im Herbst auf dem Programm)? Oder doch besser einen Allrounder wie den Evo Classic/SLS auch wenn man nur mit TT unterwegs ist und somit Directional und Foil nicht interessant sind?

Danke mal wieder für den Test. Ich habe den XR7 und finde, wie ihr in euerem XR/ Test auch gesagt habt, das der XR7 bei leichtem Wind wenn er im Wasser liegt etwas bockig ist beim wiederstart. Also bei mir kippt der Kite gerne um und dann ist es im flachen Wasser schwer wieder Wind in den Kite zu bekommen. Meine Frage ist das beim XR8 besser. Oder gibt es da Tips vom Profi. Freue mich auf eine Antwort. Grüßle

@@schwiebardinger6621I disagree. The XR8 is much easier to launch in all ways - I self launch, hot launch and water launch. I attribute this due to the XR8 being stiffer (more rigid frame) and much lighter in weight and the coating on the cloth makes the whole kite stiffer and more rigid. Not only easier to launch but lighter bar pressure for all aspects of kite control. If you are a kite wrangler you may want to stay with the XR7, it can put up a fight. Just don't drop it in the waves.
