Manuel Gluzmann smash 4 player here. Similar thing happened with me and melee lol. Vastly preferred smash 4 at first,, but Soon I Really wanted to get good at melee because I saw a really helpful neutral guide. don't currently have a computer to run dolphin though, but I did for a bit when I borrowed one and got pretty decent at tech skill. Just goes to show you how a good guide/combo video can affect a persons view on a game.

I know this channel mostly covers SF and other games but I would really like MVC3 mentioned more, SF5 and Tekken7 have very technical mechanics but they are easy to pick up and get good after a week of practice, I've been playing marvel for almost a year now and still have no idea what I'm doing, if MVC3 can get covered more or talked about more I would connect more with the channel (not that I already don't), would be nice to see pro's talk about technical marvel moves, thanks.

in marvel 3 first of all choose a good team... every character is viable but not all teams are viable... other than that develop some kind of strategy or gameplan of what you wanna do... and try to avoid attacks instead of blocking, if you have to block try to block in the air so you don't have to deal with overheads/lows... hope i helped

The hard part about T7 is learning to fuzzy guard all the common strings for all the characters, combo's and wall combo's are very easy in the game and are nothing compared to umvc3 combos, the hard part is learning how to guard, not attack, you literally have to sit there in training mode practising what to do against every common character string so in online matches you can fuzzy guard everything, as for combo's you only have to learn about 3 or 4 combo's per character and each of those is around 6 button inputs, 3 or 4 for wall combos. In marvel I have to learn a 30 hit midscreen to corner combo, then a DIFFIRENT midscreen to corner combo if I have no meter, a lvl 3 midscreen to corner combo, a meterless corner combo, a lvl 3 corner combo, a midscreen combo for your specific first assist, a midscreen combo for your specific second assist, another 2 in the corner for both assists, a TAC combo (4 if you want to be technical), and 3 X-factor combo's depending if you have level 1, 2, or 3 X-factor; and that's just ONE character, that's just your FIRST character, and you already have to learn 12 different combo's, I'd say it's way harder.

i don't have great execution to try those stylish 30 hit combos you talking so my team is characters that deal high damage nova, sentinel, akuma... nova has a good slide to hit low and airdash with heavy attack for crossups overheads protected by sentinel drone assist... i can also advanced guard air block then and counter with akuma assist to pick them up and continue the combo with nova... with 2 bars i can kill every character because nova has high damage and otg easily so i just have to tac into sentinel up or down and do a delayed hyper combo sentinel to nova for the kill... if nova gets defeated and sentinel is in i wait for their assist call so i super and x-factor to catch the assist and if they panic i get 2 characters at once... if it all fail akuma can sometimes bring it back with x-factor and a few super bars to chip kill... i don't know at what level you play but the game is not THAT hard for me to play this way

Nudge Yes, typically fourth punch and fourth kick refer to all punches or all kicks. Infiltration doesn't play using the first two buttons, though.

I play a lot of fighting games and my two favorite current ones are SFV and GGXRD Rev2. They both have great tutorials for begginners but GGX is a little more technical with a crazier pace. I say SFV is a good pick up especially if you're getting it on sale.

I think he's using more prevalent sticks at the moment because that's what Razer (His sponsor) had to offer. Korean sticks are manufactured by specific Korean companies, and while it's not hard to switch components out, he probably wanted to show off his sponsor's product a bit more.

SantiLokyyo mkx has a better resource system and tekken’s 3D movement allows for greater range of poke depth. I moved on from SF at SF4 and never looked back. Really recommend changing over to anyone questioning!

god jajg jumps are very low in that game n the reason I say he is terrible is because Tekken is a whole different game than street fighter and they made his fighting the same as if it was a street fighter game.
