1. Umm.Will there be a problem if I use any lotion to soften the surface or should it be professional one like yours? 2. Also at 11:33 you said that to move to the other side we have to maintain contact to the body, why's that? ❤love your videos❤
@CoreElementsTraining5 ай бұрын
Hi 👋 A massage medium is better to use, when available/ where possible, than a moisturiser, as it stays on the skin for longer before being absorbed. But you could use a cream, lotion or oil based massage medium. Ideally when the client is face down and you’re moving sides, it’s nice to maintain contact with the client, so they know where you are and it puts them at ease. Hope this helps and glad the videos are helpful 👍🏼

I like your technique. Do you do actual massage at this fast pace? When I receive massage, I like the pace slower as the fast pace is not relaxing and I feel like a bread dough being kneaded. Slower, relaxing pace is much better for some clients. Thank you for the video.
@CoreElementsTraining Жыл бұрын
Therapeutic massage is usually conducted at a slower pace as the aim is to relax the client. Sports maintenance massage is usually a bit brisker. But of course the pace can be adjusted to suit the client, which it usually is as everyone is different.

Do you have any recommendations for mediums to use? Is it just client preference or should you be mindful on what to use based on client's preferred pressure, back width, etc? Also as always, great demonstrations, thank you Dawn.
@CoreElementsTraining Жыл бұрын
Hi Bradley, Massage mediums tend to fall into the categories of, oil, wax, cream or lotion. Use is often personal and client preference. Some oils tend to be a heavier molecule and can feel heavy on the skin, but others are light and you don’t need to reapply as often. Whereas sometimes cream can absorb more quickly. I’m using lotion from physique in this video, it’s quite light, but creates an oily film so doesn’t absorb as quickly as some. I always advise trying several and see what you like, but keep some options available for your clients 👍 Link to physique lotion (code CE10 for 15% discount) - www.physique.co.uk/Massage/Massage-Oils-Lotions-and-Cremes/Physique-Massage-Lotion

Sorry we only deliver massage training courses as face to face training, at our centre in Swindon UK. This is because you need professional insurance to then work as a therapist, and in the UK you can usually only gain insurance and become a member of a professional body, with a face to face course. All course content (theory and practical) is supported by an online revision platform which contains many theory and practical videos 👍 - coreelements.uk.com/sport-massage-diploma-and-certificate-courses/

@CoreElementsTraining2 жыл бұрын
@@varunkhare2134 we offer training in Sports and Remedial Massage therapy which is aimed at maintenance massage, along with injury treatment, and without looking at statistics, I’d say it’s quite evenly spilt.
