The inlay and binding look so good but halfway through the video, I was like - wait - what _ his video recording monitor is on his watch! LOL, amazing I'm not a smartwatch guy, so I was mesmerized :)

Thank ya! I just use my iPhone and watch to record. Really not a bad setup because the watch becomes a monitor and remote. Can be slightly distracting tho…

Looking excellent. The laser is cool but some of those details by hand make it a true piece of art.

Thank ya! The laser really just helps with precision.

Great work Eric! The small details make all the difference and they were mostly on the fly decisions. You have great instincts on what looks good. That is somewhat rare. You should be proud.

Thank you. Kind of you to say so. I have a design background and that sensibility seems to come through with what ever kind of project I’m involved in.

I finally looked up what Richlite is, and it's super cool! I thought it was a plastic when I saw the ribbons flying off while you machined it in a previous video. But it looks like there's almost a grain pattern on it from the paper fibers.

Yeah it’s interesting stuff, takes tooling very well and is super dense.

What a waste of time. All this time and effort on a simple guitar when you could have built some props... 😛 Just kidding. It's in fact nice to see your skills extend in another direction while still making use of previous knowledge.

🤣🤣 Thanks! It really is because of props I jumped into guitars. My first guitar build was a prop! 🤗 Almost a decade of prop making definitely gave me the skill and confidence to go for the real thing.
