Mam, actually I was looking for an inorganic chemistry book named " Catherine E Housecroft &Alan G Sharpe ". But one of my friend suggested me to go for the 2nd edition of that particular book but the others are asking me to buy the 5th edition .. so can you please suggest me which one would be better if I would like buy this particular book...thanks

Ma'am I please don't ignore this...I am a student of class 12 but I love chemistry very much and follow you regularly. U explain so well...just awesome . But I keep forgetting the mechanisms and stereo chemistry of organic reactions pls tell me what shall I do? Also I wanna join barc after MSc Chemistry. Pls tell me about the selection ratio at barc chemistry interview. Did y9u qualify the interview? Just asking pls don't mind ma'am . appreciate your efforts.

At this level where you are, class 12th, the only way of memorising reaction mechanisms is to learn them by writing. Every time you learn a mechanism, write it down twice or thrice on rough paper. All the best for your board exams 😊. As far as BARC is concerned, you can appear for BARC exam in your final year of MSc or after MSc itself. BARC conducts it's own online exam + shortlists the candidates through GATE score as well. So once you get shortlisted for the interview, you can attend that. And I haven't qualified the interview yet. Aur aap please yeh thought Apne mind mein mat laana ki jab ma'am Ka Nahi hua toh Mera kaise hoga,,,Aapka selection sirf aap pe depend karta hai All the best for your future endeavours 😊. Thank u ma'am for the confidence u have given me....but I wanna share something with u. I had qualified KVPY exam in 11 with 803 AIR and then went to the INCHO as well but did not qualify. But something happened I don't know what but all my exams this year are not going that great. I first missed the IISC. THEN in her main scored only 98.66 %ile. Then performed average in wbjee...I don't know what is happening. The confidence I was having in 11 is shattered. Also pls tell me ma'am that if I get into NISER will that be any advantage for getting into barc for students of niser get to sit in the interview directly as I heard. I just want to make a fresh start after 12 th
