Corey, keep your head up young man! You did just fine in a car & situation that you haven't been in before. This IS typically 1 of the worst tracks for Hendrick Motorsports. Btw Corey, Chase finished in the same position as you did last year. Keep your head high & use some of the knowledge & experience to help Spire Motorsports the rest of the year. Good luck @ Sonoma this coming weekend.

I’m sure it was really hard trying to learn a new system in a new car with new people. You didn’t get long to adjust, so yeah man it was an opportunity for sure but I don’t think it gave you a fair opportunity to showcase what you can truly do man. Not like you got 5 races in the car/team. If you did get 5 races, I think we would see by the 5th race or sooner what you can do with that equipment. Just not enough time when you only get 1 race.

Have you ever driven any kind of a race car? He did fine in a car that was not up to it's own standards.

Sounds like to me that even though all the teams have the "same" car and spend the same money on the car, that there are other area's other then the car to spend money on. Thus Nascar will NEVER be equal as long as teams like Hendrick can spend that amount of money and gain an advantage.

Well with all due respect, he blew his opportunity in the 9. But what is even more glaring is the fact Carson was doing a better job in the 7 than Corey would have been doing. He's a 25th-30th driver. It doesn't matter the equipment he's in. He needs to step down and go back to Xfinity.
@austinsanders6475 Жыл бұрын
He’s had opportunities to run some races in Xfinity with JRM. I’m assuming he hasn’t because it’s easier to say you could do good in good equipment if you have no way to prove it

His average finishing position this year is 19.4 or something like that so he's been a top 20 car all year maybe that just wasn't a good track for him!!

@@jordandrye350 why? Cuz he seems cool and you like him? His talent doesn't make a compelling argument to stay in 223 races in cup and xfinity he only has 8 top 10s and 0 wins .
