There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. In fact, I would encourage that if at all possible. The world has become very secular, forcing people out and away from their traditional lives. Hello ! May Allah protect and guide you to his light and happiness in this life and the hereafter, God bless, Ameen. Excuse me for giving a little presentation of Islam, because it is very misunderstood nowadays, especially on those « Antichrist's » times, where media and politics are mixed to distort history and truth. Thank you very much for your time. Islam is an arabic word that means the Surrender to the One and Only God, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, and we have to thank him in this trial life by submitting to him by our free will, or later in the Day of judgment when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them). Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI). Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy. Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful. Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI). Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad). Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning! Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures. Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement. It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them. (19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).. God said : Say, “We believe in Allah, and in what was revealed to us, and in what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus, and in what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We do not differentiate between any of them. And to Him, we surrender.” (2:136 / Translated by Community) Salam (Peace) -------

My sister married a muslim, and we are christian. He is from the same country as us but different religion. He is not religious, and neither is my sister. He celebrates christmas with us and doesn't care. They have 2 children and married for 8 years happy. In the beginning there was tension between the families, but now that tension has been forgotten. I am now dating a girl who is muslim, and she is not religious either. So maybe i will marry her too, because i do not care about religion. I will not convert to islam, and she will not convert to christianity. I still believe in a god. It is stupid for humanity to divide between gods, and chose the "right" one. If we all love with our hearts, we don't need to divide ourselves because of who is the "right" god. I do not need to follow a book, to live a happy life. I have principles and manners and that is what matters. Religion did not teach me this.
@mohammedsaifb4771 Жыл бұрын
@@kingcases1012 I don't agree with the last part! I think it is for the better if someone understands what they actually saying when they I believe in God. Bcz if you are living like you want to anyway what's the point in believing in God. And if God is true then there should be guidance as well, and if guidance is there that should not contradict within itself and with reason. If above criteria isn't matched then your faith is as strong/reasonable as believing in fairies.
@kingcases1012 Жыл бұрын
The difference here is, i have made my own version of what " god " is. You see, i separate religion from god. I believe that the world was created, and that it did not come from random explosion in stars. That makes no sense. I think atheism is the dumbest " religion" Religion to me, is a cult. There has been many religions/cults over thousands of years, with many that we don't even know about ( over 10k years ago ). So how can we as humans, say that our "religion" is the right one? Islam/christianity It makes absolutely no sense, and is arrogant to all the humans who lived before us thousands of years ago. Usually Jesus, or Mohammed or any other " leader" is a very smart man, who happens to have a higher IQ than most of his people. We say that he is the messenger of god, but what if he is just a very smart person?Nikola Tesla invented so many things that we use today, and he could also be the son of god, because nobody can duplicate his work even today or how his brain worked, and he even has things that we don't even know about yet that are top secret, patents stolen by the USA secret service. Nostradamus is a psychic who can also be the son of god, because he predicted many things today. I am just a logical thinker and not a sheep like 90% of the people. It is also the reason i am not vaccinated for Covid, and i am still alive today, despite Joe Biden saying i will die a horrific death so i should join his "vaccinated" cult. You see, life is not just black and white. The egyptians built the pyramids over 10k years ago, and today we are still arguing how they did it. Did muhammad build the pyramids? No, he is only 1400 years old. Did jesus built it? no, he is only 2000 years old. I don't need religion. If everybody today turned into islam, would the world have peace finally? No, look at the islamic countries, they still have haram everyday. Rape/ murder/ stealing happens everyday no matter what religion you believe in. There is no point to join any religion. But Religion will ALWAYS exist, you know why? Because 90% are followers, and only 10% are leaders. This is a normal thing of humanity, and will never change. We forget that people were smart back then too, and we think of them as savages who only knew the world of god. Humans experimented with mathematics, physics, studying organs, and blood, and stars, since humans existed. God created this world, but he does not control it. Everything he created is coded. DNA is a code. Humans in the near future ( less than 200 years from now ) will be able to CREATE life, that is self aware. Which means that we were created by such humans as well. That is all i have to say to you my friend.

Asking people this is somewhat ridiculous. You can't marry a non-Christian because there is this tiny thing called "The Holy Mystery of Marriage" in the Church. It's simply impossible, as no priest would perform the ceremony in those circumstances and he shouldn't. People are confused because the holy apostles did not divorce new Christians from their pagan spouses but at the same time forget that new marriages were not allowed.

Question: "What should a Christian do if he or she is married to an unbeliever?" Answer: Being married to an unbeliever can be one of the most difficult challenges in a Christian’s life. Marriage is a sacred covenant that joins two people together in one flesh (Matthew 19:5). It can be very difficult for a believer and an unbeliever to live in peaceful harmony (2 Corinthians 6:14-15). If one partner becomes a Christian after the marriage, the inherent struggles of living under two different authorities quickly become apparent. Often Christians in this situation will look for a way out of the marriage, convinced that this is the only way to truly bring honor to God. His Word, however, says the contrary. It is very important not only to be content in our situation, but also to look for ways to bring glory to Him out of our challenging circumstances (1 Corinthians 7:17). The Bible specifically addresses those who are married to unbelievers in 1 Corinthians 7:12-14: “…If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband…” Christians married to unbelievers will need to pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to enable them to profess Christ and live in the light of God’s presence (1 John 1:7). They should seek God’s transforming power to change their hearts and produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). A Christian wife is obligated to have a submissive heart, even toward her unbelieving husband (1 Peter 3:1), and she will need to remain close to God and rely on His grace to enable her to do so. Christians are not meant to live solitary lives; they need to find support from outside sources such as the church and Bible study groups. Being married to an unbeliever does not alter the sacredness of the relationship, so it should be the priority of every Christian to pray for his or her spouse and set a good example, allowing Christ’s light to shine brightly (Philippians 2:14). May the truth found in 1 Peter 3:1-that an unbelieving spouse is “won over”-be the hope and goal of every Christian who is married to an unbeliever. @@hajjdawood While muslims *claim* to believe in Jesus as the Messiah, they in reality do not. They refuse his teachings and replace it with falsehood (Jesus was a muslim, he taught tawheed). They don't know what Messiah even means, and what it implies. In Christianity Jesus is God, in Islam, Isa is a man In Christianity Jesus was crucified, in Islam Isa was not In Christianity Jesus died, in islam Isa was not In Christianity Jesus rose from the dead, in islam jesus did not, he did not even die In Chrsitianity Jesus was born in the tribe of Juda, in Islam Isa was born in the tribe of Levi (though they don't realise it themselves) In Christianity Jesus addresses God as his Father, in Islam Allah is no father and Isa has no father In Christianity Jesus proclaims himself to be God, in Islam Isa denies to have said such things. In Christianity Jesus spoke a lot, in Islam jesus said "there is one God" In Christianity Jesus was crucified for his claim to be God, in Islam Jesus was crucified because he said "there is one god" (which is exaclty something the jews would *fully* agree with). I challenge any muslim to read the Gospels and then claim that the muslim Isa and the the real Jesus are the same. Either Isa is someone else Or Islam is almost completely false in his description of Jesus, and should correct its views.

I'm a Christian. I would never, ever, consider marrying a Muslim, or any other man from another religion. Why? Because the Holy Bible says: "Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 NKJV) It seems that many Christians willing to marry someone from another religion should read the Holy Bible and understand that it means what it says. Sadly, I have heard of Christian women marrying Muslim men and having nothing but trouble. I'm not surprised. Both are incompatible with each other.

Compared to other videos with Palestinian Muslims, the majority needs the translator. What a strange correlation. I’m Jordanian, and from a purely observational standpoint, it appears that Christians tend to be over represented in higher socioeconomic levels, with a theory stipulating that Christians, given their minority status tend to help one-another, propelling them toward greater common success. This might translate in better education. I’m not sure if this holds in the West Bank, though it’s entirely possible.

90% of the concern and hesitation is due to raising children. Couples that don't want children can easily pull this off, just celebrate xmas and Eid and you're done. But being able to raise children under "both", or under one while they're seeing both, is extremely difficult. One usually has to let go of theirs, and that's very hard compromise for most people. Living outside the middle east, alchohol becomes a major dilemma in this scenario.

@strawberryshortcake57723 жыл бұрын
I think it depends. If you understand right from the beginning that your kids might chose one religion over another or simply not be religious and you are ok with that then I think you can pull this off. I think when both or one person in the relationship is very secular it’s no big deal to them in the end. But if you’re very religious it’s very likely to not work.

It has nothing to do with "the children". An even reasonably devout Muslim woman will not leave her family and friends behind. She will be shunned. She could be murdered if she stayed in her family and country. Honor killings occur by the 10s of thousands a year....and for far less. No Muslim woman would accept the new testament on a whim and the cost is often exceedingly too great.

@islamisthetruewaytogod681211 ай бұрын

A law that is clearly based on religious restrictions and prevents individual freedom (for example, that a girl from a Muslim family marries a boy from a non-Muslim family) is clearly infringing on human rights. What is wrong with people choosing freely who to marry? Why did it not become problematic for my wife and me in 23 years, although she's praying to the Christian God every day? This attitude of "My religion knows best and all others are wrong" has driven me away from Christianity as early as during my Elementary School-years. And not dogmatic belief could ever catch me again. My belief doesn't have a dogma, doesn't have a punishing or blessing God and only requires one to be a "good person". And not to insult and disrespect the spirits and demons, otherwise one will pay heavily sooner or later, usually later (often very much later) when one doesn't expect it anymore, but the more serious then.

I see no bible based Christians in this video, based on the answers , just religious by tradition and position ( they say that not me ) , it’s not a law of the church , it’s The true Word of God that states not to marry unbelievers ( people that does not believe in Jesus , no mater what religion ) . Because of this type of marriage, it’s not only about the children that get lost , the parents themselves get lost straight away in the first place . So every true Christian would say just “ no I wouldn’t because The Word of God says so , and God knows it best than me “ ( something around those lines ). Our problems come when we want to do our ways. “you will Know the Truth ( Jesus ) and the Truth will set you free “
@NunnitoMiguel4 жыл бұрын
Harmony54 yes . That’s before the conversion for married people . It’s to leave as it is . But if a person is single , the Word says not to marry to an unbeliever . Let’s read it whole

If someone answers "yes", it would be more interesting to follow with "would you have a priest, Imam,... officiating the marriage?" Would you compromise on the religious theme of the wedding? "Would you still need your kids raised with your religion?" I'm an atheist who married a Catholic who wasn't religious and that worked quite well. Religious couples considering to marry into a different religions should take the likely conflicts and problems seriously.
@RobespierreThePoof10 ай бұрын
The question is more interesting because it reveals a little bit how sectarian Palestinian Christians might be.
@IARRCSim10 ай бұрын
@@RobespierreThePoof they could also be more influenced by western culture than their Muslim peers in Palestine. They might think avoiding marriage with other religions is a bit like racism and naively ignore the real conflicts that could be caused by it. If they're close to their parents after getting married, the in-laws could become a source of conflict too. Christians in mostly Islamic countries tend to be some of the most conservative and religious Christians in the world. Encouraging each other to stay in the religion and raise their kids in it are important parts of not letting Christianity become an even smaller minority there.

I'm from Jordan , my father is a Muslim and my mother is a Christian. No issues whatsoever. My family is secular too , so that's where it becomes normal. It's also worth mentioning , in Arab and Muslim countries , if a father is Muslim , the children will automatically be considered Muslims , the mother has no religious connection to her children by law. So its usually problematic for the woman , not the man. That's why the woman's Christian family might consider it problematic.
