In 1984 main street had 3 or 4 bars, a shop and a Doctors. Beach was empty. But its still a shitehole.

Hahahaha. Not many people like the place. I must admit it's not my scene either. I prefer other places in Corfu. However it was good for a visit :)

We are going to Kavos this September ( My wife and I )..Thanks for great video. It has really given us a good insight what Kavos looks like . Lots of Tavernas and shops, and the beaches look great. We can't wait to go..

focus2607 Wow... lucky you... I stayed in Agios Georgios which is 15kms away from Kavos but would have liked to have stayed there... I walked through a couple times, even rode a scooter through ... It gets very busy during July & August but it has everything you need from restaurants, Bars, cafes, medical centres, supermarkets and a lot more... You will have to let me know when you go how your trip there went... I’m planning a stay in Kavos next time we go to Corfu... 👍👍 PS... Great idea going in September as it may not be as busy..

@@aleks1845 I was there in October 2012. The deadest ghost town I have ever seen, at the end of the road with zero infrastructure surrounding it. I still find it very hard to imagine this remote, tiny place being full of people.

Really brought back some memories this. Im 38 now. But went on 2 lads holidays back in 2004 and 2006. So id of been 22 abd 24. Alwats said id love to go back. Am i too old for them bars now?

I'm the same a bit too old for the Kavos scene but you can still go there, I saw plenty of families. I stayed in nearby Agios Georgios which was a bit older of a crowd. I was there in 2017 and 2019. Soon as this pandemic is over I plan to go again. Thanks for watching. Merry Christmas :)

Yeah GoPro is an awesome little camera... I’ve done so much with mine... Had a few accidents with it and it’s still alive and kicking lol... You need to go to Kavos if you go to Corfu... Place looked awesome when I was there ... 😎👍👍

Five Inches love the GoPro. I purchased the Canon M50 camera and I hardly use it. GoPro has better stabilisation and it’s small .. 👍👍

Note sure about Kavos but in Agios Georgios the guys I rented a Scooter from had them at 35-40 euros a day. But I'm not sure what sizes they were. It also depends on the season.

It was a dump when I went when I was 20 I’m 45 now and it still looks like a dump. It was the worse holiday I ever had. Terrible bug infested accommodation, condoms in the sea, dangerous drivers everywhere. I was glad to get home.

Yikes that doesn't;t sound great. The condoms in the sea part. I must say I never stayed in Ksvos. I was 10km away in Agios Georgios. Kavos seemed to me to be for a younger crowd. That's not to say there wasn't families there as well.

It's not for everyone I agree. A lot of tourists go to Kavos. It's like Agios Georgios it get's very busy. Some people like it a little more quiet :)
