Thank you, Corey, for encouraging me to sew. I’m 82 and have been quilting since the 70’s, but at my age, I tend to lose my quilting mojo. Your streams are so full of positive encouragement, and I love your beautiful fabrics! I have my sun washed fat quarters and a layer cake and am all set to get started on the Cakewalk sewalong! I taught my daughter how to quilt and she has not only become a meticulous piecer, but has also become very good at using my longarm. I’m thrilled that quilting has become popular with younger women..and men, too! Keep on designing and sharing the joy you bring to us every week.

I do love to learn, and honestly, that's been an important part of my life's journey. I added quilting (to honor my Great Grandmother) as a skill I wanted before I retired. Classes are rarely available for hand piecers/quilters, so I learn a lot from the information provided in videos. Yours have become a favorite for many reasons. I really love your positive approach, your shared joys, your encouragement, your humility, your expertise, and the countless ways you offer your own thoughts on fabric choices, pattern designs, and color arrangements. I learn from you, and yet you feel more like a mentor than a teacher. Thank you so much.

I have been quilting for only a few years. My favorite patterns to learn are the ones that start as a simple block. Then you cut them and sew them back together, like a disappearing 9-patch. I love the “wow”factor and comments I get from my quilt recipients. I have made about 45 quilts in the past three years, most of which were lap quilts, and have given every one of them away. That is the reason I quilt. I enjoy the process of making the quilts and very much look forward to giving them each a loving home.

My favorite videos are of quilt projects. They give me new ideas to try and I always like seeing what someone else is making. I really like the two quilts you made in this video.

I love your videos Cori. I really love fast and easy quilts to complete quickly, as I always have more complicated WIP projects going with the BOM’s I’m doing. So having some easy and quick projects is wonderful. I also always enjoy tutorials. Thanks for inspiring us!

I enjoy the step-by-step tutorial videos. I've only been quilting a short while now and want to learn what I can and different way to do different quilts. I also enjoy the show and tell videos of what can be made with all types of beautiful fabrics. I loved how those blocks look! I'd never would have thought that block would be formed by sewing then putting then sewing back together!
