Coring a bunch of wheels

Decided to core 4 sets of wheels in one session and film it, bit of a different style viddy to the usual but it was heaps of fun.

I like your strictness.👍 I couldn't stand that shitty riding feeling when I got close to my core, so I rationalized it by saying, "Oh, I'm going to get hurt if I keep doing this," and switched to new wheels.

Yeah its not always possible to core wheels if they get super ovaled and sketchy but sometimes it can be super fun 😂

You should do a video on HOW to clean core wheels. I was having problems. Once I got down to the core, it just started sticking in the flatspot and I literally ground through half the core. If I kept going I would hit the bearing. Thanks!

Great suggestion! The main thing is to keep your slide at a low angle to avoid flatspotting and rotate your wheels frequently to try get it so the wheels core at similar times. A video explaining the process and including tips like these is a great idea and I will keep that in mind next time I go to core wheels!

As a grandn00b I havent gotten the satisfaction as of yet to core my 1st wheels, So reviews like this are great to see what to expect on the journey, I just upgraded from the snakes to killers today so coreing will be another while lol as i have some spots to try after recon showed fun rides ahead with a grass center margin

Oh wow yeah nah snakes are super durable and not many people even bother coring them because of how they feel when really small. If you try any wheel that thanes a lot and is a lil smaller you can core them much quicker although its not the most economical way to enjoy skating 😂

What does it feel like when you're down to the core?

Depends on the wheel but it will always feel "harder" while rolling and you feel the roughness of the pavement more (can even hurt your feet if you do it for too long) and the wheels get way more slippery and can be hard to control while sliding
