On a recent trip to Southwest Florida I went to the Chorkscrew Swamp Sanctuary operated by the Audubon Society. It is mainly comprised of a 2 mile raised boardwalk that take you through 6 different ecosystems. Great for kids and grandparents and is easy to navigate with a stroller or wheelchair. Allow 2 to 3 hours to see everything and come early when it is quiet and their are few other people. Buy your tickets online before you come out and there are Audubon lead programs through out the day. See the website corkscrew.audubon.org.
