A rare stellar SNL sketch from that era. The fact that Fallon and Sans didn't break but Janet did makes it even more endearing. Well written, greatly performed.

I had an idea for a boxing skit. With an old Russian coach. And his line is that you have to "be tough" to get in the ring at his gym. But in Russian accent it sounds like "beat off". I made a few good punchlines about it but that was about it. It's funny in my mind lol. " if you want to come in my ring, you must "bee toff first". "Not everyone is born toff, here we can teach you to bee toff". Maybe someone reading this will find it funny. My friends didn't laugh when I told them my idea lol

Whoever wrote that skit is a godamn genius. That whole cast was great together. I really loved SNL back then. This particular cast had a shitload of great sketches and skits back then. The writers/cast members really knew how the push the envelope and thinly skate around that FCC rule about the 7 words you’re not allowed to say on television. Great stuff.

@@inquizition9672 The fake giggling and break ups trying to draw attention to herself. Every time she had a line, the same reactions, fumbling her lines, trying to be cutesy, giggly. She nearly ruined one of the best skits ever. If you read the comments those that saw through her act say the same, unfortunately the majority like you bought thatBS. I'm sure you thought Michael's "marriage" to Lisa Marie was legit too. The Jackson Five Fakes...lolol
