Unless I missed something, I think it is partially open at the moment. I remember reading that the full opening is going to be around the beginning of June. It should be quite exciting!

Great walking tour video….. I know the area well…. Great narration….. Fun Fact… I disconnected the incoming utility power to old Tiger Stadium to allow the demolition to begin…. It was an emotional day …. Spent many ball games as a child in the late 60’s early 70’s….

Thank you very much! Corktown is such a great area. I'm sure it was quite sad to cut out the power for Tiger Stadium before its demolition. I never had a chance to go to the original Tiger Stadium, but I'm sure the games there were quite fun. Thanks for watching!

Thanks! It does a great job with filming and keeping things very stable. Corktown is a pretty safe area, but it is the oldest neighborhood in Detroit.

@scottman895 I guess some of the reason why is that they need to replace some of the sidewalk.

@@scottman895 I guess the unfortunate reality of Detroit and most other Michigan urban centers to a lesser extent, have such a large infrastructure backlog that they can't even seem to have the main commercial corridors in good shape.
