From my visit there this Saturday, I think I heard that Corky is the leader of this heard. I recall a trainer saying that corky takes charge in seaworld’s pod. And personally I am glad that they retired frequent reuse of the name Shamu that kept recycling for a while after the original died in 1971. All whales are different and deserve their distinct names and personalities. The original shamu was a legend oh yes, and I believe that corky is carrying the original Shamu’s honor as we speak.

No, he is not looking good. No Orca likes to be caged. They are seperated from their mother when they are very young and orcas have a deep bond with their families. Please watch "blackfish" #blackfish

@@johnmoss1444corky is on the bottom of the matriarchal line. Kalia is first than Shouka than Orkid than corky. Corky is a northern resident of the A pod and most of seawords killer whales are Icelandic so that’s 2 different languages so a lot of the Icelandic killer whales pick on corky. Orkids mother died trying to ram and kill corky but hit a wall and bled out. I know Ulises who is Icelandic can’t be paired with corky because he tries to kill her. She can be seen with any member of the pod except Ulises although corky mostly stays with Keet Ike makani and Orkid the most
