⏩Ingredients for corn cookies:
300 gr of Mexican Corn Flour (Nixtamalized,3 Cups- 3 Tablespoons).
50 gr of ground walnut.
90g of vegetable or pork butter.
90 gr of unsalted butter.
2 Eggs (100 gr of liquids).
150 gr of Sugar (3/4 Cup).
1 tsp ground cinnamon.
1/2 tsp of salt.
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence.
To sprinkle:
100 gr of sugar (1/2 Cup).
1/2 cdta of ground Cinnamon.
⏩Tips and Recommendations:
1. Remember to add the flour little by little, this is because not all flours are the same, some absorb more liquid than others, if the dough feels dry just add a little milk.
2. You can use just butter or just lard.
3. There are different brands of flour of this kind like Maseca, Harimasa or Minsa
