NOT A VERY EFFICENT OPERATION TO MANY COMBINES NOT ENOUGH GRAIN CARTS AND SEMIS
@tf72744 жыл бұрын
That field would generate about 600-800 bales at $35-40 a bale...that's the new normal here. In the next 15 years all material will have to be collected and sold...

Funny way to 'open up' a field, - looked as if they were just going anywhere and then the 'dump cart' drivers seem to be working in slow motion they certainly weren't rushing either when they were loaded or going back to a full combine. That farmer needs to get some new drivers who know what they are doing. Good video nevertheless no how NOT to do it.
@kirbyspencer5384 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Especially the grain cart drivers. Not very experienced (or interested).
@christopherlovelock91044 жыл бұрын
@@kirbyspencer538 Exactly, - perhaps they were suffering from the 'cold' in their heated cabs. - In my day you didn't even have cabs, so you just wrapped up well, got on with the job, and didn't hang around. Sometimes I think we were a different breed of men, to use one word, - tougher.

They must farm to much if not done yet and will likely be looking to run more smaller farms out of business next year also so they can eventually be picking corn in April ... Ohhh isn’t progress grand

Yes it is a shame that small farms are going under, but these folks haven't run anybody out of business.

I see the "expert" farmers have been here adding their 2 cents, they know everything yet in reality they know nothing :) Good video, for a moment I thought it was the same one you had up 3 or 4 years ago. Didn't take long to see the differences though, but still a lot of similarities.

I try to capture them every year.... it never gets old. But to be fair, I also get the local antique tractor club doing their annual plow day, too.
