Corned Beef Hash and Eggs on the New Weber Griddle - Leftover Corned Beef Recipe!

This corned beef hash and eggs might be my new favorite griddle breakfast recipe to make! We used leftover corned beef, potatoes, onions, and a few carrots that had been cooked in a Dutch oven in the oven the night before.
Just rouch chop everything and mix it all together in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper, and cook the corned beef hash on the griddle at a low temp so that it can reheat all the way through and the potatoes get nice and crispy like hash browns.
Cook up some over easy eggs to serve on top of your corned beef hash, and you've got one fantastic breakfast on the griddle, and a great way to use leftover corned beef!
To make the corned beef brisket, we cooked the corned beef, chopped onion and baby carrots with about water that came up half way up the beef in the oven at 275 degrees F for about 3-4 hours uncovered. Then we added two whole baking potatoes to the pot, put a lid on it, and turned the oven temp down to 225 degrees F. Cook for 2 more hours, then remove the pot from the oven and allow it to cool. Refrigerate corned beef, potatoes, carrots, and onions overnight in all the juices.

Yes, please do the knife info video(s)!!!! Also this video was amazing. I love corned beef hash! Instead of cubing and chopping it, I would have thought of running it through the grinder with a course plate, but that is just my thinking. Most days, I just use the canned corned beef hash for breakfast with some eggs. I line the rack of our air fryer oven with a piece of foil, lightly oil the foil with avocado oil, and spread the hash in a thin layer for 8 minutes on 400 degrees. Then stir/flip and go another 8 minutes (the crust forms on top with this method). Works great and cleanup is just tossing the foil out! Hard to beat when making hash for one from the canned products. But your scratch made product is the way to go for special occasions for sure!

@TheFlatTopking I have been eaten canned Corned Beef out of the can ever since I was kid away back from the (1970s) & even to this day of the (2020s Twenty-Twenties) & even later on into the (2030s Twenty-Thirties) and beyond is that I would still be eating Corned Beef out of the can of course. Away back ever since from the (1970s) & onwards that my mother used make Corned Beef Hash but with Chopped Onion and a bit of water & served it with either Pasta Noodles &/or Boiled Rice, Mashed Potato. But when I left home I make &/or cook my very own Corned Beef Hash with a Couple of Cans of Corned Beef into a Pan &/or Saucepan & then add Chopped Onion & then add Water & if the texture is too watery for my Corned Beef Hash THEN I do mix both Corn Flour & a bit of Water in a Cup & then add it to my Corned Beef Hash and then stir it until it thickens & if you want Curried Corned Beef Hash then add Curry Powder with both of the Corn Flour & Water &/or just simply add the Curry Powder itself straight into the Corned Beef Hash & stir it while cooking of course. I also do make my very own Corned Beef Sandwiches just simply by using the canned Corned Beef & then add the Corned Beef from the Can on my Slices of Bread as Sandwiches of course.

A series of knife videos would be great. I did not think I liked corned beef hash, but several years ago we went to an out of town wedding and the next morning went to breakfast with several other couples. One of the guys ordered it and was insistent that we all had to try it and reluctantly I did and now I'm hooked.

I know you've been putting your new Weber flattop through it's paces. If I remember correctly, I think you got the 28" version. Size and aesthetics aside, would you recommend weber over the blackstone, camp chef, or pit boss; or is it still too soon to make a recommendation? If I were to buy only one, seems like the temperature control on the weber might be better than the others. Thanks for another great video!

@@TheFlatTopKing about 20 years ago. I was running a vocational training program for the homeless. They took two courses and the State of Nevada got them jobs. The set cost me about $60.00 back then. Bought through the college.

How do you know how much to season without going OTT
@TheFlatTopKing
@TheFlatTopKing Жыл бұрын
Really hard to do...after so much the seasoning has nothing to stick to....Plus being such a big piece of meat that is really not an option...salt maybe but not pepper

Sunny side up eggs never look cooked. I like to splash a bit of oil over the top to fully cook the egg white and seal up the yoke. Wife insists upon it or over easy.

Brah, that hash looks frickin $$$$ 🫡! I agree I’ve never been a fan of the canned hash, but yes it would have to definitely be crispy. Ya gotta run that loaded potato skin hash idea, that sounds like an absolute banger. Lol, Once that yolk was popped, I heard the Angels singing 👼🏻 “AAAAAAHHHH” 👼🏻. 🔥🔥🔥 cook, cheers y’all 👊🏼😎🤙🏼

Well depending on what it is...typically the bread we just throw away and save the vegetables and meat... some we give away and others we eat...our daughters will have some etc...no waste except useless carbs
