Dr. Cornell West been dressed up as that one picture of Fredrick Douglas for a long time. Even in the heat of summer in the south, he wears a three piece wool suit. Young people will question, not the style, but the practicality of such a man. I say this to persuade my revered brother to bridge the gap of shear intellectual romanticism and rationality for the sake of connecting with the young minds of the present. Otherwise, I fear such a brilliant mind fading to the periphery of contemporary social constructs. And what good will that do?
