Discover women artists at Victoria Art Gallery.
Our series on women artists is brought up to date with Cornelia Parker CBE RA. Unlike many of the women featured in this series, Parker has enjoyed an illustrious career including a major solo exhibition at Tate Britain. Victoria Art Gallery has acquired some of her prints thanks to the generous bequest from Katharine Kimball (whom we talked about in the previous film). In this film our curator Katharine examines Parker's prints of glass ware, inspired by the works of pioneering photographer William Henry Fox Talbot.
Victoria Art Gallery is Bath's public art museum. It is open Tues-Sun and Ban Holiday Mondays. Please note our permanent collection in the Upper Gallery is temporarily closed for conservation work until spring.
