I have an apple tree in my garden with apples that don't turn brown. I thought it was just because we eat them fresh that they don't turn brown. Great information, found it very interesting. Thanks for posting it.

what is the ethical augment for using this "gene gun"? forcing dna that otherwise cannot be combined with normal breeding seems unethical to me. im all for breeding programs using technology to there fullest potential. do we understand all the individual genes that are effected with using this "gene gun"?
