What is the crime rate in town/city? The eating hall open til what time and how many is on campus? Can people just walk onto campus grounds and walk around? Is it a good school to study scientific fields? Is it a quiet campus or rowdy students? And is the town shut down by a certain time?

The university is located in a rural area of New York. The crime rate is very low. There are several dining halls with good selection. One year the school dining hall was rated top five among all colleges. People can walk on the campus and walk around. There is no gate or anything. The town and campus are fairly quiet compare to other big state schools. Cornell has the best scientific fields among all the Ivy League schools.
