Corner Country Ep.4/6 Cameron Corner to Innaminka

Adventure bike riding in the Australian outback at its best!
This adventure takes us from our desert camp to Cameron Corner.
We get to ride the Strzelecki Track by default!
Ending this episode as we roll into Innaminka.
Experience endless kilometers of red dirt country, camping off the back of our adventure bikes.

Hey Mal, when I heard you were not running comms I was amazed to go without. Seeing the chat you guys have on arrival to new destinations and respect for simply enjoying the ride, I get it. We use them in our bush off road and it’s for sure saved accidents with oncoming vehicles, track conditions etc but that’s a different place out there. Humour, I love it. Change for nothing.

Luv it, it’s entertaining better than some other BS people talk about. Your honest & knowledge of the area you guys are travelling through is amazing. 25 years ago when me & ate traveled from Sliver city to the corner great, we came across a home made to look like a RTA sign saying no through road which just ignored after about 30 seconds of seeing it was a fake. We were told from Silverton hotel & farmers along the way to watch out for the bloke who looks after the NSW & SA dog fence because he thinks he owns the main road which runs along the fence. He rocked up at the corner about a hour after we arrived, as we were eating breakfast he sat down & just stared at us with no expression wearing his dark sunglasses inside, I said gday no reaction. It looked like he been hit in the face with the back end of a shovel more than once. We believe he spot our tracks & followed them to the corner. A couple of farmers hated him because he doesn’t like closing the gates. At the time he was driving a quite new Suzuki Sierra with no plates, I asked why not, everyone (locals) he has a government permit & it’s not required. Anyway he watched us leave in the north direction. You guys have given me a itch to do a solo run in September on kto 640 adventure as a shake down luv the XR650 trench digger 🍻👍👍🍻

Coffee Club or any of the chains don't do it for me, but compared with instant there will be no contest. August next year we are doing the Ghan and then driving a campervan back with the intention of BFN overnight stays, maybe hotel/camping ground every 3 or 4 days for a shower. The camcorder and drone will be onboard. Enjoying the series greatly. Anthony

The massive clay pan is great for drag racing, my stock Xr600 won 3 out 3 with my mates Belgarda TT600 both running 20ltr tanks & the same amount of gear & gearing with tyre pressures running at 25psi the XR was lifting the front in gear changing. The road running through the middle was the finish line. My mate was a Yamaha man through & through, he work for them for many years as a rep he could also ride for long distance on the back wheel dirt or road.

Quick question in regards to Riecks rd, the road that leads to the Strezlecki track from the Cameron cnr store...was it a dirt corrugated road or handlebar grabbing sand? Im good with gravel and dirt...but sand is the enemy!! Thanks again ride safe

Pretty hard packed with minimal sand, hit a few sections but easily done, I would say 90% plus hard packed soil with some light stuff here and there, no actual thick sand. Also not really corregated! Only sand we hit was the 2 dunes going into Haddon Corner, hope that helps!

I think everyone our age has a sense of humor all the young folks don't get.
