great question. It will depend on the size of the room and how far away your camera is from the light. I would say yes as it is noticeable, its just not bright enough to use as a room light. For streaming I would think it would work fine as you dont want a ton of light anyway

it was randomly going through the different modes and I just pressed the mode button again and it stopped on the 2 colors.

Im thinking of getting a 150 cm version and mounting it over my bed because getting nanoleaf lines is super expensive, do you think its going to work if i get some wall mounts or does it only work with the floor mount

it might work. The little legs that hold of the stand do come off. To be honest, I would look for another product that would work better

@@carrerakiid turn off the lamp While the lamp is off, press the “A” key for 5 seconds The lamp should turn on in white light I have the same one

Better off just sticking led strip light to a wooden furring strip. Like $20 for a smart Govee LED strip light and then $2 for the furring strip.

it's just ok, but it all depends on what you are going to use it for. If you are looking for background light then this will work good, but if you are looking for a room light, I'd look for something else. We do use ours but in addition to our regular light. We will leave on when watching TV or a movie

Hi Beth, you ask a really good question. I did mess around with the settings for over an hr and tried searching the internet for info (which I'm sure you did as well). I could not figure out how to set this to just white either. I come close with a light blue setting, but it's still not white. I am beginning to think that there is no true white setting. If I find any answers to this I will let you know

Seems expensive. Just a little strip of led lights on a cheap stand for $50 off Amazon. Rather have the lights around the top of my room and for cheaper too.

I dont see an easy way to do this with this model. I was able to get the cover off but the way the LED's are assembled, it looks like it will be more trouble then it's worth

it is possible with some trial and error but I think you would be better off with something that you can daisy chain from to be honest

The remote is pretty much every thing with this light. If you just got it, I would contact Amazon to get a replacement. I did read where some people replaced the battery and this fixed some odd issues with the remote, but I can't honestly confirm that this would fix the issue you are having. Sorry I wish I could be of more help

that's great question, I dont think that will be easy. Getting the cover off was simple enough, but where the wiring goes in there is a little circuit board and all the wiring is soldered to it. To me it looks to be more trouble then it's worth to mess with. I hope this helps
