I really like your style. Friendly and easy, but very informative. I present a radio programme with a monthly travel feature so now know who to ask if I need anything!!!!! I will choose this hotel for our next visit to Bangkok in June 2023.

Great video with a lot of visuals, detail and information. It gives other traveles the chance to know what to expect in terms of hotel, and this specific suite. Well done. I think you could improve on your ranking system. Again and again you mention "OK" (location), "quite nice", "quite OK", "pretty nice", "so so", which sounds like just a bit better than average (maybe 6 out of 10?). This is in contrast to the visuals and details you describe, which show quite a stunning hotel (looks like 8 or 9 out of 10 for many people). So when you compare and say "quite nice", best maybe say what you compare this hotel to (e.g., Raffles?). Thanks again.

Thanks for watching and the feedback! Yes, we have been contemplating giving scores for different aspects of our stay but as you pointed out, they will all be relative to our past experiences. We will be working on it nonetheless!

Had a club corner suite too, the price was good. Great service with extremely nice staff, super friendly to guests also after 2am. However breakfast and certain finish elements was below 5 star standards, but then again the price for a suite of this size. Needless to say my pretty guests were thoroughly impressed as we pressed the buttons to open the blinds and reveal Bangkoks night skyline. As for the many finish issues i think its safe to blame the covid hysteria, lack of skilled workers was a problem in the period this hotel was updated. However that doesnt explain why tile cement and glue hasnt been scraped off at a later point. Compared to the real good 5-star hotels i been to this was all over the place, the inconsistency is remarkable, i have never before seen strips of bacon-colored rubber on a breakfast buffet. Asian breakfasts however, low on selection but quite good. I am very willing to go back but the suites need to stay at their current prices to be worth it, like 50% below Shangri-La.
