You have to eat the Lamb. That is why I left Calvary Chapel and am now Catholic. Please look up St. Paul Center “Is Jesus the New Moses” and listen to the good news presented by Dr. Scott Hahn, a former anti-Catholic Presbyterian minister.

I love this teaching but have a question. If Jesus was eating the passover meal with the disciples the lamb would have already been sacrificed so how was Jesus sacrificed at the same time as the spotless lambs?

9:00 lords supper? Who calls it the Lord's supper? Last supper, yes but not Lords supper. BTW, the Eucharist is Greek for thanksgiving, but when you use sacramental language it is not symbolic For Catholics, Orthodox and copts it IS the body , blood, soul and divinity under the species, the accident of bread and wine. This has been the church's teachings from the start 1 corth 10- It's only when the religious revolutionaries of the 1500 taught their 'lords supper' that is merely symbolic. If you belong to a non denom, prot church you are only eating a cookie, nothing more.
