I was a hard working person, had all kinds of friends and was loving life. I considered myself to be a good Christian. Then about fifteen years ago that whole life crashed and burned. I developed an illness that stole my energy and my mobility. I became too sick to work and it sent me into a deep depression. However, this sudden halt to my busy life made it possible for me to walk closer to Jesus. Over the years I have become more and more aware that I had not been living life as Jesus commands us! Only took me twelve years to start realizing this! So, yes, being so sick for so long is not good physically. But spiritually, it has brought me much joy and peace! A few months ago I began seeing a decrease in the symptoms and have actually been able to help in church activities to build up the Kingdom of Heaven! It is humbling to receive God's healing hand. I can say if I were to relapse, I am still secure in Jesus. Never lose hope and keep reminding yourself that the earthly life is just a blip in our eternal life with God.

I just heard Gary for the first time, via KZbin, and I really like how he presents the Word. The message is very true, even though we don't always think so. I'm now 82, and I look back over my life to see how God worked things (even though I didn't know him until age 15). I grew up in poverty, with alcoholic abusive parents, and my mother resented me because she had to get married.. everything was my fault, and that's all I heard until she finally left us 7 kids when I was 13. The courts took the younger 6 into a holding place to adopt them to other families. I left on my own, hearing teens never got adopted. I traveled the US on my own (countless experiences where God directed things but unknown to me at the time). I traveled from the Midwest to the Pacific to the Great Lakes area to Texas. I was picked up by the police for not being in school, and was finally placed in an orphanage in Dallas at age 15. The orphanage was Southern Baptist and was the first time I'd even heard of God. Long story short: I graduated from high school, graduated from a university (with 3 majors), got married, 2 daughters enriched our lives, we both got our Master degrees in different fields, and today we are retired in a great gated community with 2 well adjusted daughters living within a few hours of us. God has blessed us over the years (now married 56 years) and we love studying His Word, and looking forward to our eternity with our Heavenly Father, with Jesus, and with the Holy Spirit. I'm so happy we still have pastors like Gary around.

Hello there. I’m texting to ask for someone to please stand with me in prayer on behalf of a little 3 and 1/2 year old boy named Alex. He needs a miracle and has struggled his entire life trying to stay alive. The doctors can no longer treat him as he’s so weak and frail. But his family is believing for a miracle. I believe in miracles and am hoping to find others who will also believe. Thank you a million times a million. 💎🙏🏻🙌👏🕊️🦋🎁🚀❤️🔥🎶

This verse is TRUE even when PAINFUL. When my husband divorced me to marry his secretary it HURT me very BADLY. However after we divorced my life was colorful and although like a gigantic roller coaster, I have been very blessed I wrote books, I bought and sold houses, and made so much money that I could donate to Christian ministries and give thousands financial gifts, in short I am living in abundance even in my late 80s. Besides this story there were many times I was very worried, hurt and very mad, but when I think of this verse, I feel very good and SURELY I receive MUCH BETTER, GREATER and MUCH MORE than what I wanted.

Here's what this verse means. 26 yrs ago, I was a working mom but I worked out of town. We lived behind Mama so she took care of my daughter. My husband was usually away working thru the week too so Mama was raising Bethany. We'd both come home on weekends and be a family then. Then NYeve98, Bethany and I were rollerblading on our freshly paved street when I hit a stone and went down. It was that fall backs, put you arms back to break the fall thing, I hurried up because it was so embarrassing but I felt a bone sticking up. I told Bethany I broke my arm, she was 6 at the time. I wanted to see if my doctor was open, did NOT want to go to ER. The front door was locked so had to reach over privacy fence to get in thru gate and back door was open so got my keys and drove to doctor's office, they were closed. Went to Mama's and told her what was going on, called around, found an /////urgent care across the bay so Mama drove. They took Xray of arm and one bone was broke in one place and other two. They called an orthopedic doc in. He told me they were going to admit me to Thomas Hospital, that I'd there there as outpatient, have surgery in am. I told him I have no insurance, he said don't worry about that, prayed with me and left. I was in hosp. 12 days and had 5 surgeries. Before it was over, I had a dozen surgeries, including bone fusion where one bone fused to other and my right hand doesn't work or rotate. But the doctors helped me get w/AL Rehab and they started paying for my surgeries and the last was at UA BHM where they did the infusion. The doctors helped me get disability and because I was on disability, Bethany got half too. I became a Stay At Home Mom. What the devil meant for bad, God turned it to Good!!!

I think it all comes down to how we define good. We say God is good all the time. We want to define good as whatever is pleasant or peaceful or smooth. But God is good even when things are absolute chaos. And we are taught in scripture that whatever God allows or ordains in the life of the believer is for our benefit. We are sharpened and shaped by everything HE does to and for us. Just as Paul says in Philippians, Rejoice in the Lord always. How can we do this? Because in the Lord there is always something to rejoice about. 1 Thessalonians tells us that being thankful always is Gods will.

As a life long Christian, I wish with all my being that this is true. However, there is no good in childhood cancer, there is no good in October 7th in Israel, there is no good in Alzheimer's disease. The list goes on. It's tough to focus on eternity when we endure so much suffering in the present.

Miracles in the Midst of Suffering: Annie's Testimony of God's Faithfulness | ISRAELMediaMinistrie In this testimony it gives one hope. The Lord never quit doing miracles, large or small, we quit expecting them. We stopped trusting for the Lord to fix it, we do it ourselves. We stopped believing the word is fire today. We need to get back to the basics. If you do you will see your miracle.
