Fore-giving. What a great illustration regarding the definition of the Word. God does tell us He'll avenge us on the day of Judgment. Therefore, we as Christians need to release these things to God ahead of time. He will repay. Just awesome!

Not only because of the humor but because I think it's something we can all relate to. From both POVs. Thank for the explanation of Rom. 7: 24 too. I've heard that before but the reference to Roman Poet Virgil is something I REALLY appreciate because it gives EVIDENCE that can be fact-checked. I've heard too many other things from others only to find out it was made up and not true. In fact, i think I heard someone once say that the Romans would skin out a Christian and make another wear that skin until they died. Great job, Pastor Gary! Keep 'em coming!

Mark 7 it’s not talking about dietary. It is talking about the traditions of their fathers of washing hands and outside of cups and bowls before eating. So dietary laws are still in effect look up Deuteronomy 12 to see if anything was changed in the law. Blessings and peace 🙏

Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Until the heaven and the earth pass away, one iota or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all come to pass. 18 Remember that as long as heaven and earth last, not the least point nor the smallest detail of the Law will be done away with - not until the end of all things. Jesus’ never removed the dietary laws. He was rebuking those who added to the law creating traditions of men violating the law itself. Yahweh said his people will perish due to their lack of knowledge.

Because of our rebellious sin nature the law actually stirs up sin in us which is otherwise dead in Christ as symbolized by baptism. In chapter 6 Paul says that sin doesn't have dominion over us because we AREN'T UNDER THE LAW. The point of chapter 7 is that sin WILL dominate as long as we strive to keep the law. Philippians 2:13 describes what sanctifying grace looks like. As we crucify the old man and His deeds through confession (1John 1:9) we naturally become more obedient to God. The law can't do that. It can only show us that we are hopelessly in bandage to sin.

Jesus said, "And fear not them which kill the body, but are NOT ABLE TO KILL the SOUL: but rather fear him which is able to DESTROY both soul and body in hell." It's obvious from the mouth of Yeshua Messiah who is God in flesh that God can and does kill souls in Hell. Who are we going to believe? Man, or God? It's as if having our soul killed in Hell by our Creator God is not bad enough to make us want to be with Christ forever; instead they all have to invent this eternal life of torment in Hell. God gets to decide how much an unpenitent sinful soul will suffer before it is destroyed, but we don't get to change the words of the Bible to make it sound so much more horrific than it is for the souls who sin without asking for Jesus to save them from this body of death.

We are no longer under the Law. If Paul wrote Romans 7 about a Christian's struggle, then how had the law of the spirit of life in Christ set him free from the law of sin and death? It hadn't. So he was writing as one under the Law, showing the futility of trying to be righteous by keeping the Law.

At the 6:45-min mark and 7:19-min mark Gary uses the term "God conscience", that term is no where in the Bible! But it is in the Esoteric community, where they say god conscience / consciousness or Christ consciousness / conscience. + This is very disturbing to me as the churches all seem to be going woke or pagan / apostate, because during the Q & A video with his two sons they actually said it was ok to watch "Harry Potter" movies. + I would like to know where in the bible does it say that it is ok to partake in "Witchcraft Entertainment". In fact the scriptures tell us to mark and avoid things that cause division contrary to doctrine. I would say that divination and soothsaying is contrary to doctrine. + I'm just wondering where do we draw the line? For the time being my spouse and I are done with this church and its promotion of doctrines of devils - (1 Timothy 4:1-5). We are now understanding what the bible means when it says that in the last days men will be lovers of themselves - (2 Timothy 3:1-5). + Maranatha - Come Lord Jesus - Amen!
