Karl Humann also excavated the Altar of Zeus (Throne of Satan) and transported it to the Pergamon Library at Berlin in the 19thC. Interestingly, the final completion of its reassembled parts at the Museum was in 1889, same year Adolf Hitler was born.. Needless to say, the altar became a huge fascination for Hitler and his interest in the power of the occult before and after he became the German Chancellor in 1933.. The Altar of Zeus is a massive archaeological discovery that remains to inspire many visitors st the Berlin Museum today. Would I visit the Altar? You would have to drag me kicking and screaming!! Same applies to the Arch of Baal in New York City and London's Trafalgar Square. Ephesians 6:11-18 still applies very much to the lives of Christians today.

I have a question regarding Balaam. When I read the account I see where Balaam repeatedly told Balak that he can only speak what God tells him to speak. I don't see where God changes the words coming out of Balaam's mouth from cursings to blessings. Also, I see where after Balaam and Balak went their separate ways Israel played the harlot with Moab, but I don't see where Balaam advised them to do that. Could you tell me what verses tell us that? I do see where Balaam tells Balak what Israel will do to Balak's people (beginning Numbers 24: 14 -) Thank you. I am learning so much from your teaching.

Constantine didn't make Christianity the official religion. In 313 CE, the emperor Constantine issued the Edict of Milan, which granted Christianity-as well as most other religions-legal status. In 325, Constantine called the Council of Nicaea, which was a gathering of Christian leaders to determine the formal-or orthodox-beliefs of Christianity. The result of this council was the Nicene Creed, which laid out the agreed upon beliefs of the council. The heretics who had crept into the Church were defeated. In 380 CE, the emperor Theodosius issued the Edict of Thessalonica, which made Christianity, specifically Nicene Christianity, the official religion of the Roman Empire

I just want to say thank you for this wonderful teaching I am thoroughly enjoying it! However, Jacob in Hebrew does not mean deceiver, it means pursuer. One who pursues! Jacob was man who stayed in the tents he wanted to learn about God he pursued God. He listened to his parents and waited for a wife unlike Esau. The Lord says Jacob I have loved and Esau I have hated! If Jacob was a deceiver why would God love him over Esau

I think everyone should review what Dispensationalism is and when it started. The idea of the rapture and christ coming 3 times is relatively recent theology. See Darby/scofield/etc. That said- I enjoy his teachings and think your relationship with Christ and the word will lead you where God wants you to go. This is NOT a criticism of the pastor. We need to accurately learn how theology has evolved imo. God bless.

The Greek word is harpazo is interpreted in first Thessalonians 4:17
