I have talked to many unbelievers who say that if they have been redeemed and saved by grace then why turn away from sin if they’ve already been forgiven. I believe pastors should stop saying this because it will continue to keep unbelievers away

How can we continue to commit sins when our Lord and Savior died and paid for all our sins? After all what God has done for us, are we to dishonor Him? I called this “UNGRATEFUL.” Let us just talk man to man. How can you hurt the person who saved you from all the debts you have? Considering, that is if you have a good conscience.

I think Romans ch 6 clears that up as well

Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? 2. By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?

I agree that people misunderstand the gospel because they love sin more than they love God. If they are broken by sin and hit bottom, they will seek freedom from the sin that is slowly killing them. We should warn people about sin. Obedience and good works are a good thing. Let's not downplay it. ❤❤❤

Thank you for this series! I am studying Hebrews in a group right now and have found these videos very helpful! Question: if verse 1 is about neglecting the faith and not rejecting the faith, then is Charles Darwin in a saved eternity? How does that play out long term?

Doesn’t it say “confess your sins to one another”?? Why would we not do this or deny someone when they try to confess their sin to you? Shouldn’t you accept listening to the sin?
@string_yt Жыл бұрын
While our relationship with God is personal it’s not met to be private. We are all part of the body of Christ. Confession and praying with one another can bring about healing as said in James 5:16 but it’s important to distinguish that others can’t forgive our sins. Only God can. In Catholicism, you can go to confession and a priest will give you penance to be forgiven which is what he was talking about. Instead of this, we can go straight to God to repent because Christ serves as our mediator. You should never be discouraged from talking with other believers. Our God created us to be communal!

It is my understanding that Jesus is the physical manifestation of God-even in the Old Testament. Jesus is NOT angel, but in the same way they are spiritual with physical manifestation, Jesus is spirit with physical manifestation. (Think of when Jesus returned after the resurrection-He had a physical body, the apostles touched Him, but He could pass through walls.)

Racist Pastor 😢 smh. I've ministered in the Caribbean several times and come back feeling sorry for American Christians. Their love, devotion, and dedication to God (some walk miles to church and will stand and worship God for hours) are matchless.
