I used to be catholic and used to practice those Catholic prayers but I then I saw the light. I Stopped praying to Mary and saints, rosary praying, but I can't say the same for my family, I have tried to preach the true gospel and urged them to read the bible for themselves but all in vain. But as for me and my younger dear brother, we are born again bible believing christians.

Thank you so much for daring to speak the truth concerning the Catholic Church! I was raised Catholic and I remember barely, the Latin service. When I was 15 I went to a Baptist church and I skipped school one day and went down and bought a little Bible which I hid in my room. When my parents found it they went crazy and I was thrown out of the house and put into a group home for about six months. I had to return without my Bible but as an adult I left the Catholic Church and so did my family! Praise the Lord!

Pastor Gary, there is only one church in my area/district, that's the Catholic Church. So, growing up, that's the church I attended, but it never entered my heart or soul. As I grew older, I stopped going to church because I felt like a hypocrite, and I was ashamed of myself. Then I got lost, and a friend introduced me to an online church that turned out to be teaching legalism and the keeping of Sabbath on Saturdays and the Jewish holy days, etc. But I am thankful because it led me to leave the Catholic Church and opened my eyes to many things. In my pursuit, finally, I listened to Billy Graham. Now, I attended the local Anglican church, listened to podcasts and online service, and also read the Bible. I am so glad the Lord saved me.

The true church is not a denominational church, but a remnant , the ones who worship in spirit and truth. God knows his own, and he is looking for those who have not spotted their garments, and love his appearing, they follow his commandments to love one another and to love him. They can be found in all walks of life, and will not compromise. They do not worship idols, they do not elevate anyone over their Lord, they do not strive to be the only church, their only consideration is what does their Lord think about them, they are not in competition, They do not store up great riches, nor do they fail to help when they find someone in need. The do not Lord it over anyone. They will be willing to give up their lives if necessary, they speak truth, act truth, and walk in truth, with nothing hidden, they do not sell out to the devil. Hello Pastor Gary, I am a former Catholic. They believe when the priest says the words of consecration, "This is my body" and "This is my blood," that the bread and wine become the body and blood, soul and divinity of Jesus Christ. Idolatry for sure, but that's why they panic if a drop of wine lands on the floor.

Pastor Gary, I love your messages and hope to complete this series on the study on the Book of Revelation. One thing though, do not feel that you need to "apologize" for pointing out the erroneous teachings in the Roman Catholic church. We must be bold and unashamed to tell the truth so that more Roman Catholics will realize the corruption prevalent in their church.
@sihlembatha95319 ай бұрын
Thank you, thank God for your teaching, I am Catholic and some things you have said are very true. Some Christians in Catholic like myself believe the Bible more than what the church will teach at times, I believe in reading the Bible myself, I don't want to defend the church, I am the first to acknowledge that the church has some big mistakes, all churches has mistakes, but the true church are the ones who believe in Jesus Christ as a son of God and also God. Is it possible to be a true Christian inside Catholic church or not?
@dorrierousch2276 Жыл бұрын
Until Gutenberg invented the printing press the Bible was not widely available to everyday people, so of course the scriptures were transmitted orally. The Canon of scripture was not even settled until the Catholic church settled it in the 4th century---and Martin Luther took it upon himself to take out several books of scripture that had been in the Bible for over 1000 years. The Catholic Church has MANY problems, but I would encourage people of faith to find out for themselves what the Catholic Church actually teaches. It can be found in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. If you are a Catholic and you worship Mary, or the saints, or if you believe the priest stands between you and Jesus Christ, you have TOTALLY misunderstood the faith. The Catholic Church teaches that Jesus Christ died for our sins, rose from the dead, is the only way of salvation, and that we are saved by God's GRACE, through faith --a faith which is made evident by our works (see the book of James). Salvation is not earned. If you are a Catholic and you believe something besides this, you have got it wrong.

How about the tradition of Christmas? Why can't Christian churches let go of celebrating Christmas? Encyclopedia Britanica and wikipedia said Christmas came from a pagan tradition. It is not written in the Bible. Is Santa Clause written in the Bible? Christmas tree is written in the Bible. Jeremiah 10:3-4. We were not instructed in the Bible to celebrate Christmas. We were instructed to commemorate the death of Jesus. Christmas was invented by the Catholics so why do Christians still celebrates Christmas? Is Christmas Biblical? Early Christians don't celebrate Christmas.

I laughed so hard when he mentioned rapture around 2 minutes in the video. From there, I know he's already wrong. Rapture's not biblical. I'm not keen in this so-called studies and radical individual interpretation.
@satrinarlord77154 ай бұрын
To be fair, you should listen to the series from the very beginning. He provides Scriptural support. Yes, the Rapture is Biblical - whether you want to believe it or not. Not every concept is explicitly mentioned or addressed in the Bible. For example, the Trinity is not explicitly mentioned in the Bible, but God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Elohim - plural in Hebrew) is a concept that was established in the beginning (Genesis 1).
