I have a family member who is on disability, and stuck in a situation where her spouse (actually boyfriend) has refused to work for over 20 years. Their daughter had the good sense to get married and get out of there. But her mother can't get to the bank to pay her bills, or get groceries unless I take her. I don't know what to do about this, honestly. I'm 63 and there will be a time when my health will fail and she'll have to find someone else to help her.

What does God say about ministering to Single Adults over the age of 30 ? So many churches ignore Singles after their college years. I used to go to church routinely and tithed 10% of my gross pay. The last church I attended, I asked the Senior (Head) Pastor these two specific questions. He refused to answer, but instead had an Associate Pastor them. They are: • Would the church create a ministry for Single Adults over the age of 30 ie; (divorced, never married, widowed, separated) ? Answer: No. The church has never and will not recognize this demographic in a ministry. • Will the church create an Afternoon Bible Study for those that work nights ? Answer: Though the church had a membership over 1,000 active attendees, the answer was No. As a Christian Single over 30 and never married, I prayed for a wife for over half my life. Now in my 50's, I've given up hope of being married and from my experience, the Christian church is no place to find a wife if you are older because there are only three groups of people that attend church regularly: • Seniors • Families • College / HS, Middle School Students If you aren't in these catagories, you have no support from church and alone. I quit attending church for these specific reasons.

Chris, I am in the same situation as you. I am above 30 years old and am single and go to church and serve God. It has been quite a challenge in recent years in finding a companion or wife in the church. I know it is a challenge and frustrating. I have a fiance in the Philippines that is Christian and hopefully she can be here soon. But I don't have any friends and have been like that for over 20 years. I just prayed this evening that I could find someone in the same situation as me. I hope we can chat more about this.

i TOTALLY agree with you! I've experienced this my entire christian life since age 35! I'm 60 and still single, very lonely and hopeless. The church at large treats singles as is we are lepers. only way to be accepted as a single is if you are homeless,... if you are a single woman, your are even more of a leper!!

Sad, my church in CA had a ministry for singles. Most ages 40s to 60s. I met my husband through singles ministry in my 40s. But, finding a spouse is not the reason to go to church. It's to worship, serve and fellowship with your fellow family.

God doesn't answer my prayers anymore because the Devil has already got me. You can't go back once you lose your soul. I don't even bother praying anymore because I know it's a waste of time and I can't even be bothered. I always prayed that he'd give me the strength to stop sinning and come back to the light because I wanted to live for God instead of sinning, but even though I was entirely selfless he still doesn't take my desires for sin away, so it's pretty obvious that he's leaving me to it. I'm damned already.

Hi! I don't know who you are, but please remember that Christ came to save sinners, especially the ones that feel more lost. We all fall into temptation and sin. God knows that, because we're made from dirt. Come back to The Father through Christ and ask for mercy, don't give up on Him, don't give up on hope! I will pray for you, if you will allow me. .

I'm confused, so then we don't pray unless we know whatever we pray for is His will? I.e. we just drift through life, and just pray when we absolutely know His will in the matter. I understand that everything is for and by Him. But it is very difficult to think that God essentially ignores even our most heart felt heart wrenching prayers. But I do understand how selfish we are and that what we pray for can be very superficial much of the time. But again, I understand God is my Loving Father, but does not necessarily care about my concerns, unless it is His will. Tough one.

This is what I have been struggling for as well. I prayed for adoption to go through. Have I adopted yet? No. That being said, God has put people and wisdom in my life regarding how to go about the adoption process. Although I can't get passed a certain level, I have confidence God answered me regarding adoption wisdom. It does not mean that I have done it yet. I'd like to adopt now, but God has His timing in all circumstances. That doesn't mean God has not heard me. Its just that sometimes its not instant. Its a process. And now I know about adoption, I'm still praying for the right timing and circumstances to finally sign the papers and go through the process. Abraham had the same problem. He was even inpatient with God thinking it wouldn't happen so Abraham bore Ishmal. He thought he had to help God along for the child of promise, but Ishmal was not the child of promise. It wasn't until much later that Issac, the child of promise was born, when Abraham was beyond his years.

So I have been praying for adoption. God has not fully answered my prayer, but God has helped me along the way. I hope this motivates you to hear this. I prayed for adoption so God answered the following: 1) He gave me wisdom and insight about the process. 2) He changed hearts of some family members to embrace the idea of my wife Susan and I adopting. Originally, some thought we were a fool for adopting, but he changed hardened hearts. 3) He put ideas in my head that I could utilize to raise the funding for adoption. 4) God helped me to understand the things I could control vs what I could control. 5) And there have been times when I just wanted to give up on adoption because it has not happened yet. Seriously, I was just willing to be defeated and use the funds for something else, but listen to this. Each time I was willing to give up, people would say, "No you can't, you worked to hard for this. And despite all these prayers God has answered I still get frustrated at times, but He always picks me back up. It may well me that my timing is not the same as God.

a lot of personal bias went into his annoyance at people who can't don't or won't work... was that God's word or just Allen's judgement creeping in... many people aren't working in these times for many different reasons... and for him to sit in judgement and spit his personal dislike at people really turned me off him... what... does he want people to starve, freeze, die on the steps of a hospital because they don't work, life is complicated now, AI is taking the place of many jobs, low wages, long travel times, illness, family issues, etc... not to mention people are living and working in a satanic system designed to cause intense stress and burden on people... it really turned me off him... God judges our hearts and our love for what Jesus Christ did on the cross for us... not if we're working...

Our father who are in Heaven prayer is really for the Jew. For the Gentiles it’s said we don’t know what to pray for but the Spirit of Jesus moans an expression on our behalf to God. And it’s says in Philippians Chapter 4 verse 6-7 …. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Pastor.. If a person works 2 jobs for 26 years, then becomes blind and cannot see the numbers to do the work anymore and cannot lift any weight, they have paid into SSI and SSDI.. (this in not an entitlement program) (it is an insurance program that SS taxes we paid into later pay those disabled people... It is like having insurance on your car, when you get into a collision or you injure yourself, you collect on that insurance policy.. These are not entitlement programs..Both of these have been paid into via Taxes that we paid.. I really hope you don't become blind or crippled and your only work is reading numbers or lifting rocks.. And if so, i hope no one tries to shame you for calling your disability income an entitlement program.. We pay for that in taxes so that in the event we are physically unable to work, we can still eat and pay rent.. I forgive your ignorance about what SSDI is. I purposely used the word Ignorance (derived from the old Latin word ignore) because you have to know how SSDI and SSI is funded.. I didn't use the word Nescience because you are smart and have knowledge.. I was a hard worker doing 52 years worth of work (2 full time jobs for 26 years) paying my taxes including SSA tax.. I worked in landscape and banking... Since God took my eyesight, i cannot see numbers to work in banking, and i cannot lift more than 30 lbs because the increase in blood pressure causes my eyes to bleed and i loose more sight.. I'm grateful for the limited sight to allow me to walk around, and i'm very grateful that my insurance policy called SSDI pays me enough to survive.. If you want to call it charity... please send your contribution check to my account and i will tell SSA that i no longer need the income. I have 52years of Type 1 diabetes.. i'm stage 3 blind with Profound contrast impairment.. and i have Multiple Sclerosis.. The only time i'm not grateful to God is when a self righteous minister calls me lazy for not working.. Let me ask one simple question.. "does the church pay you a retirement package in your old age..?" "does the church give you sick time off..?" "does the church give you a paid vacation..?" your not working during those times... if you earned it then it is not an entitlement program to accept.. or do you think you are entitled because you are the pastor..? May God be with you and your family.. Maybe God is speaking to you thru my experience even though you think i'm an incredibly lazy stiff" I believe it is ok for me to be angry at your willful ignorance of facts..Sometimes a righteous anger is needed to point out the obvious.

Isaiah 53:5, he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes, we are healed. For salvation, we just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in water for the removal of sins and filled with the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38! Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT a man, be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD. We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans. Our salvation has to match up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. Eternity is TOOO long to be WRONG! st, John 5:39, Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church. It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, And they continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS and the other is a WORK OF FAITH. Titus 1:16, They profess that they know God; but in WORKS they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. God bless you!

"God answers all prayers. Sometimes the answer is no." Ever hear that before? I have. Frequently. And I've always thought that sounded like a flippant cop-out. Didn't Jesus say, "Ask for _anything_ in My Name, and if you believe you've received it, it's yours" and "If your child asks for some bread, would you give him a snake? If you being evil know how to give good things to your children, how much more so your Father in Heaven who loves you and desires to give good things?" Well... this sort of goes along with the sermon, so stick with me. Jesus said ask in His name, so we all do that, but without much thought for the implications. Imagine for a moment that you're in the Middle Ages, the time of Kings and Emperors, and you're a servant, a representative, of the King. You carry His seal and His authority. When you're amongst the locals and you demand a good or service in the Name of the King, people scramble to obey. But, what if you start abusing that authority and start making wild demands that abuse the privilege and have little to do with performing the King's wishes? What happens when the King hears of it? If He's a _good_ and _just_ King, there will be consequences. Likewise, the Kingdom of Heaven isn't a democracy. It's a good place to be, but there's still a _King_ to serve and obey.

DOES YAHWEH HEAR ANYONE'S PRAYERS TODAY SINCE THE ELECT WERE ALL KILLED OFF? There is no salvation for today so Yahweh does not hear anyone's prayers because no one today has His Spirit infilling, WHICH GIVES SALVATION. His ears are only opened to the righteous, His Elect, when the time of salvation comes once again during the 7 Year Peace Plan after WW3. This is and has been Satan's world. 2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but Yahweh delivereth him out of them all. 20. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. 21. Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. 22. Yahweh redeemeth the soul of His servants: and none of them that trust in Him shall be desolate. Yahweh only hears the prayers of the righteous, there are none today. The verses below was when salvation was still attainable. Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you and Yahweh, and your transgressions have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. Psalms 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, Yahweh will not hear me: Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your transgressions may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of Yahweh; Isaiah 55:6-7 6. Seek ye Yahweh while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near. 7. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto Yahweh, and he will have mercy upon him; for he will abundantly pardon. Matthew 7:7-11 7. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 9. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 10. Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11. If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Mark 11:23 23. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24. And whatsoever ye shall ask in My Name, that will I do, that the Father may be esteemed in the Son. 14. If ye shall ask any thing in My Name, I will do it. 1 John 5:14-15 14. And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us: 15. And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.
