Cornet Mamabolo is a South African actor best known for his starring role as Thabo 'Tbose' Maputla in the SABC1 drama series Skeem Saam. Cornet was born in Limpopo and attended Eqinisweni Secondary School where he was consistently involved in school activities.

I really enjoyed this conversation. The entertainment & sports industries are known for having people pass away with very little or nothing after years of earning a good ( although not stable ) income. Its not that people in other industries are super financially savvy but its that most corporates look after their employees from a benefit perspective and they almost force you to take care of yourself, your health, your kids and your future even if you don't see the importance. The deductions sting in the beginning but you get used to them eventually and will be very grateful later. Other industries should really adopt the same, insurance is too affordable not to, Cornet is right in saying R300 can go a very long way.

This is true. We often judge artists for not saving or just not having money. But, it could easily be us without the cushion of corporate benefits. Should be interesting to see how my generation (millennials) do, since we change jobs a lot and sometimes cash out our pensions.
