I have been following Cornfield Customs for a while now. His work is extremely well done. Your metal work is at par with his work. He just has more industrial tools to build at a bigger scale. It's awesome you were able to visit and teach a couple classes with Mike.

The future reaction to top fabrication is hey we go to save this car, look how much work someone put into this. It can mean the difference from being junked to going back on the road.

Thanks for the tour Karl, I think most people following you are also onto Mike but its good to see you two together. I admire the workmanship and appreciate the time involved, I sometimes think I'm cursed by the fabrication Gods, I'll set a grille shell for example, double check it, look at it then fix it in place and come back into the workshop the next day and see its crooked aannnd do it again, so frustrating.... and common for me

WOW What a shop full of awesomeness!! Nice to see the control line model airplane hanging from the ceiling. The first shop I worked in had one of those Sun engine analyzers! Check things out before we cleaned spark plugs! Great video!

Really cool tour Karl, have been following Mike @cornfieldcusoms for quite a while and am very impressed by what he’s able to do. Did not realize how big his shop is and I’m pretty sure he’s a one man band. Thanks for the tour and thanks for sharing 👍 Your not so shabby yourself. Keep up the great work 👍

Superb shop tour. I have a couple of friends in Norway 🇳🇴 that have built a not to similar salt car as Mike has. The one at the beginning. They are going to run an inline six as they say you can put a lot of boost through it. They have campaigned at bonneville before with a belly tank. Plus the they are in the process of upgrading the tank. Can I ask where did Mike start this journey he is on. And is he a one man band. Or does he have a work force in the shop. Karl I hope and I no with your dedication that you to will be named as a coach builder and not a fabricator. Take care best wishes as always. Tim.

His quality of work would also make his Cars very safe also, no cutting through Pillars, removing a section and butt welding them back together ignoring the inner structure like many do.

Awesome! is that a genuine or hand made gt40? either way its pretty cool. I subbed to Canfield Customs My fj40 needs a new frame and I see he has some videos on building frame rails. Oh and I saw a tonne of vintage bikes on his walls lets see more on those bikes!

Just think Carl, if should Trudeau was to take the offer of becoming the fifty first state of america.... your taxes would be one third what they are now, more money to work with for building your designs. Plus your talking to american technology when some young man like this fellow is working with you. I do hope you enjoyed the visits to our country as we should all be just one country helping each other. The very best car and truck builders are in canada.
