Church Chorister’s and Cathedral Choristers in particular are trained extremely well. I was lucky enough to be part of my local Anglican Church choir while in high and received just a fraction of the training these guys do. I also have the pleasure over the last 20 years to be part of a camp that teaches the choral skills to children. You can see the blue ribbons around some of their necks and they are from the Chorister training scheme called Voice for Life that focuses on all aspects of singing from posture and breathing to the music itself.

MIsheard lyric story with this song, riding in the car with my husband several years ago this song was playing on the radio & we were singing along. My husband was belting out "it's enough to make kings and BAG OF BONES". I lost it! When we got home I had to pull the lyrics up online to show him the actual words. We still sing it his way at times. That said, this was absolutely wonderful. The little angel at the end with his solo was the icing on the cake. I hope Sir Elton John hears this and is proud.

Most of the kids are well groomed. A couple unruly ponytails and a couple curly mops. They’re there to sing, not win a beauty contest. No telling how or how long they traveled to get there (I had some decidedly unpleasant bus trips as a HS student).
