Another great joyride clip in Cornwall ! Thanks a lot Sir ! King's Arthur Statue ? Wow ! Camelot Hotel ! We have a very beautiful café in my town (Veroia of Greece) named Camelot ! It's like a Castle & has a very nice view to our country's richest & second biggest plain ! Regarding England , my childhood's instinct was absolutely right ! England is the most influential country of modern era.!

Thanks for watching Part 2 of my Kernow300. 👍 Glad you enjoyed the Tintagel part; the King Arthur connection is a brilliant bit of folklore and adds to making Tintagel a really special part of Cornwall to visit. Whilst Cornwall (and England) are great, at home in Greece you'll get better weather! Thank you again for watching and taking the time to comment.

@@cornishcarcollectors It was my pleasure watching your beautiful clip Sir.Yeah, tin general, I can say the weather is better here in Greece than England , but during summer time is quite difficult to cope with the heatwaves for someone who is working outside in the labour sector.Last summer I was working in a very dangerous Oil Refinery in Southern Greece ( Peloponnese ). We were maintaining the premises of the Oil Refinery.I had the luck to meet 3 very good professionals from your country Sir.They were our rescue team. They were responsible for the personnel inside the fuel owens..In case of accident they were responding immediately by using pilot ladders like the maritime sector..They were living in the City of Hull ! Great guys..My previous work experience was in maritime security sector.I have a former colleague & friend from England. He is living in Newcastle.

Thanks for the comment Tim. It really was touch-and-go there for a moment, and had that petrol station not had unleaded fuel then it would all have been over! Good to know you enjoyed it, thanks and thanks for watching.

Useful travel info from this...dont take the Crown Vic to Port Isaac! The engine might be the same but the body work isn't getting down to the beach!

Thanks for the comment Matt. It certainly is a bit tight and maybe a little too tight for the Crown Vic, but worth a try for the photo (and you’d take a much better one than me). Appreciate you taking the time to watch. 👍🏻

Thank you so much for the comment, it is great to know the video brought back some fond memories. I’d been wanting to do this drive for a few years and I am so pleased these videos have found a small audience who are enthusiastic about Cornish roads, the road-trip itself and the MG ZT260. Thanks for watching.

Really enjoyed both parts of this Kernow 300. Double 👍👍 from me. We live in a beautiful group of Islands. I have not been abroad for decades for holidays with so much still to see here in the UK. Mustang power. It's not just for that Exhaust noise, for me the induction sound of that V8 approaching full chat is even better on my MK2 ZT260. Best heard with both front windows lowered under a long bridge or tunnel. Never tire of hearing that. Last time I visited Cornwall was in 2010. Prior to that 2005. Both times to collect Rover project cars. Both Rover 620ti. The 2005 one with its cylinder head in the boot. Used my MG Montego Turbo and loaded twin axle braked trailer to tow it back to the Cotswolds. My MG Montego Turbo coped admirably and get this, with towing, you need to drive very smoothly, concentrating totally and anticipate the actions of other road users or else. Look out. That smoothness with next to no braking or heavy acceleration. Not to be confused with driving slowly. That does wonders for the economy. Mid 30s mpg on a long smooth run.... towing a loaded trailer That is not a mistake. Careful calculations of brim-fill up checks has confirmed my first calculations which at first I thought was a mistake. The 2010 one was a relatively low mileage @ 80.000 and drove well on the way back. Bonus being travelling down by rail to get it. Still a Rail Transport enthusiast. Another bonus.. Got to travel over one of my all time favourite engineer's masterpiece. Isambard Kingdom Brunel. That bridge over the Tamar River. Got some nice images passing over that bridge from the train. That Rover 620ti was a daily driver for some years and sold it to a car collector based in Bradford last year. Great cars the Rover 620ti with the Rover T-Series Turbocharged engine. I have since fitted a Witter Stowbar to my ZT260. It is QD .. Quickly Detachable which is very convenient and easily fitted or removed. . The Stowbar one of the best there is. I wonder what MPG I can get if I ever use the V8 to tow again... we shall see next time if ever a car needs to be recovered.

Thanks for the comment, I really appreciate you watching the Kernow300 videos and great to know you enjoyed them. I planned the roadtrip always with my ZT260 in mind and thoroughly enjoyed it, but of course you understand why owning one yourself. The ZT260 really is a fantastic and unique car, and like you I look forward to road tunnels. I am also a big fan of 600Ti. I owned a BRG T-reg 600Ti around 20 years ago and absolutely loved it. At the time I was also considering a Sapphire Cosworth, but went for the 600Ti as it was only 4 years old... I kept it 3 years and 35K miles. Today, I own an 800 Vitesse (you have probably seen it on my Channel) and a Sapphire Cosworth (purchased this year), but I still miss that 600Ti. Thanks again for watching the Kernow300 videos - it was my first time attempting to feature a roadtrip / challenge, so am hopeful if I do another the quality will be improved! Do take a look at a few of my other videos if you haven't already and I hope to hear from you again in the future. Appreciate the support.

Great videos. Epic trip. I did the east coast in September but didn’t stick to coastal routes like you did. I will try the complete trip this September. My favourite stop is Lizard so far. Great car. I’ve always admired the ZT and nearly bought one back in the day. I now have an XJ (V8) and XF. Which do I use? 🤣 one quibble.. move your head-restraint up! It’s too low for you 😉👍

Thanks for the comment and glad you enjoyed the video. It was a lot of fun to drive, so enjoy it if you do indeed get around to driving it (I would avoid the lanes though after Polperro!). I've owned an XJ and really liked it, in fact I feature on of the XJs on another video so do check it out if you fancy watching. The XJ would be a nice car for your road trip. Thanks for watching.

@@cornishcarcollectors so avoid all lanes then!? 🤣 I was having kittens watching you drive down to the harbour in those tight lanes. Very brave. I visited in mid September last year and weather was gorgeous and still busy surprisingly. Might visit same time this year. Been in October one year and could visit anywhere without seeing many people. Weather was cold though.
